Re: MSI Afterburner OSD show on EA app menu

Hi @taica,

That's probably an overlay from the MSI Afterburner OSD which you should be able to disable through the settings of MSI Afterburner OSD.

Did you only notice this on the EA app or is there an overlay in games/other apps too?

@EA_Jason Hi, no overlay in other apps like Steam, Ubisoft, Epic, GOG etc... not even in Origin, only in game as it should be. It is not normal behavior for the EA application to be recognized as a game by MSI Afterburner.

@taica Ah okay, so you want the overlay to be present in overlays only.

MSI Afterburner OSD recognises the EA app as a game, but the overlay won't show up when using other apps?

@EA_Jason Yes, no overlay on Origin and other apps like Steam, Ubi etc... when I run Afterburner in the background. Only on EA app and it's annoying coz block the settings tab on that corner.

@EA_Jason Thanks for your help and support. We known that you are not in app dev team and you can only pinpoint our bugs and glitches that we find to dev team. I find another bug, EA app can't launch game through browser-Battlelog (BF4 in that case), game hangs in logging in infinitely and it doesn't start.

@taica Please create a new topic for that, ideally we would have 1 topic per bug/issue to avoid confusion.
