Re: Slow Download Speeds on EA app

What is going on here? No other launcher or anything is downloading this slow. Epic, Steam, Xbox App, they all download full speed. My line can go up to 100mbps, but for some reason when my downloads go above 2mbps on this worthless app, it immediately shoves it down to 1.99mbps and stay there. Like you can see the app starts at 21mbps then gets forced down to a hard 1.99.

I have tried ALL the solutions posted on these boards, and nothing helped, not even a VPN.

I just signed on to the EA Play Pro so that I can play Dead Space Remake tomorrow when it launches. But of course, you are trying real hard now to slow down my downloads so that I can't get that much play time, is that EA's newest grift?

I have contacted my ISP as well, and there is no throttling on their end with anything EA related.

I want a bloody refund if EA is still going to limit my download speed for no other reason than their malicious intent to cost time on ones EA Play time. There is literally no other reason for this garbage app to keep forcing my download speeds down, other than EA themselves limiting it.

EA IS THROTTLING DOWNLOAD SPEEDS ON PURPOSE

And I see this has been an issue since 2021 on these boards, but EA would rather try and figure out how to screw customers over with card packs each year than fix their crap.
