EA Play is asking me to "Join EA Play" when I already am a member

"Join EA Play"

EA Play is asking me to "Join EA Play" when I already am a member and have it on steam its even in my purchase history that it should still be active until the 23 of March, if this isn't fixed before then I guess I will be unsubbing.

Trying to play Wild Hearts, I was able to play fine, it crashed once but then I was able to continue playing... twice.

But when I try to play now it is giving me this... same issue as "not being able to launch because it found an issue" but I've seen no one mention that EA play is asking them to resub..

I almost paid for another month till I confirmed that I am already subbed.

The issue is that for the fix of the issue where steam users cannot play the game due to "an error" you are told to uninstall the game on steam and then install it on EA Play... well as I said EA Play thinks I do not own a basic account with them so I am unable to download it there or even run it through there...

Hope this gets fixed

well I guess thats where the problem is as when you launch it on steam it opens EA play and runs it through there... the issue before happened that it would not launch and say there was an error and the game could not launch.. as I said.. the solution mentioned here for other users was to uninstall it from steam and install it from EA Play... how can I do that when EA play thinks I am not an EA play basic plan user who is using the trial version of the game?

Luckily it went back to working after I reinstalled it on steam. but still its kinda silly that both EA play and steam are on PC so shouldn't being subscribed to one reflect the same in the other? Or are you expecting people to have 2 subscriptions on the same system?

Hi @SIR1U5 To confirm when you say EA Play is asking you to join "EA Play", Are you getting this message in Steam or the EA App client?

The EA Play subscription is platform specific so if you are subscribed on Steam you won't be subscribed in the EA app (or on platforms like Xbox and Playstation). So if you are playing Wild Hearts from EA Play on Steam we would want to launch the game from there and check if this continues.
