Are you playing through the Xbox Game Pass?

If so, then please clear the cache via the App Recovery program for EA Desktop and uninstall EA Desktop after. 

Then start the Xbox App and download/install EA Desktop through the Xbox app. Then try to download the games. 

Could you give it a go and let me know what happens?

Yes I am with game pass.

I tried this and it didn't work, any other solutions?

Be sure to also temporarily disable and firewall/anti-virus that you may have or set up exceptions for EA Desktop. 

All of these are for origin, EA Play from game pass doesn't work on origin for me, don't know why.

That could be why @manix_on_crack, the games from the Xbox Game Pass will only work on EA Desktop. 

I know thats what i use but all the solutions were on origin...

Which games are you trying to download on EA Desktop?

fifa 20/21, sims 4 and probs a few more

no, i haven't ever got a trial from origin

When you see a game that's in the Xbox Game Pass, do you see that you can add the game to your collection? Does that work?

yes, I have tried that though already and it doesn't even go into the collection when I press it, it does the exact same thing as when I try to download it.

@EA_Jason thinking about it, it could be to do with the age of of my account, do you know how I can change it to give it a try?

when you get it on game pass isn't it only a 10 hour trial?

@manix_on_crackwait its not the full game with game pass? I was just over 10 hour mark before I refunded it. I was able to download Fifa 20 without issues.

Ive mainly tried it with fifa 21 and battlefield 5. But it still does it with most games
