when i try to log in from my browser with steam it finds my acc but when i press allow doesnt link my acc but says 

There's been an error

connect_error_social_login_failure

My steam account is eng0s2

I can't launch fifa 23 "something wrong"

1. Best solution is to stop buying EA sports games
2. Tell EA to revert back to origins

I have the exact same problem. I cannot link EA and Steam accounts neither from steam nor web in private. I always get the "Something went wrong..." message.

I tried to reboot everything and reinstalled EA App but nothing works, not even emptying the cache.

My Steam account is not underage, I changed my account name to a two latin letter name. I do not use a VPN.

Please help, I've tried everything on this thread and a few others I found online and nothing seems to allow me to link my account and access my games.

Thank god, the EA support was giving me straight up lies about my account being already linked to an "unkown" EA account. Checked with Steam support, had no connections to EA. The problem was too long name for me as well.

Dude THANK YOU. Ive been trying for 2 hours with live support and those people straight up lied and said my steam account was linked with an "unknown" ea account jesus this company. EA is a serious garbage company.

YOOO THIS WORKED i had a long * steam name with my twitch id and everything, changed name to something simple, linked and worked!
