EALink.exe Unable to Start: Error Code 0x0000005

Hi,

I have this game on Steam. Every time I try to launch the game I get this error:

"EALink.exe - Application Error

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005).

Click OK to close the application."

Things I have already tried and did not work:

- disabling my antivirus (Bitdefender) and Windows Firewall while launching

- allowing EALink.exe and ItTakesTwo.exe access through the firewall

- command prompt -> system file checker found no problems

- verifying local files through Steam found no problems

- reinstalling VC++ via this suggestion did not work

- just updated Windows 10 but did not work

- updated my graphics drivers (AMD RX580) did not work

Running EALink.exe as administrator still failed to launch but the error message did not pop up.

Anyone have a solution?

Edit: I have found and fixed the problem. My original Origin folder had a lot of corrupted .exe files, one of which was the EALink.exe file. The OriginUninstall.exe was also corrupted which did not allow me to uninstall the Origin program, so I renamed the folder and did a clean install of Origin again. That allowed me to launch Origin and It Takes Two like normal.
