Re: [RESOLVED] Why Are Some Games No Longer Included in EA Play for PlayStation?

Hi all,

I recently saw the EA Play Service for PlayStation advertised at the following

URL: https://www.ea.com/ea-play/games

The games looked appealing, so I decided to purchase a four-year subscription, thinking it was worth the investment.

However, about a month ago, the EA Play playlist was updated, and some games are no longer available. Below is the list of missing games, but let me elaborate.

I checked back on the

https://www.ea.com/ea-play/games

and the

https://store.playstation.com/category/74d4e266-5c64-4c61-a7e3-1b6e78f643e6/1

websites. EA Play Games and PlayStation EA Play Playlist, and I saw that the games are still listed on EA Play but not on the PlayStation EA Play playlist

.I contacted PlayStation support, and they pointed to EA as the source of the problem. They mentioned that the issue is due to EA's system. I also noticed that community posts about this issue were made three weeks ago.

Thanks to the community, where the players, that are experiencing the same problem, they are talking this about.Rather than just saying, "We raised a flag to our team," can you please explain what is happening? The most important part is that I paid for this service, but I can't access the games, even though you are still promising them to new EA Play users. How do you plan to compensate for my one month of lost access to EA Play? I am still paying for your service but cannot play the games I was looking forward to.

If the problem occured by Playstation systems, it is not matter to us since we are subscribed to your systems, not to Playstation. So please don't come up and point out the PlayStation.

List of games that can no longer be downloaded with EA Play subscription:
• EA SPORTS™ PGA TOUR™ (PS5)
• Madden NFL 24 (PS4, PS5)
• F1® 23 (PS4, PS5)
• Super Mega Baseball™ 4 Standard Edition (PS4, PS5)
• WILD HEARTS™ Standard Edition (PS5)
• Dead Space (PS5)
• Need for Speed™ Unbound (PS5)
• Mass Effect™ Legendary Edition (PS4)

More proof that it is a not intended issue with the front end is that Ive tried downloading and opening Dead Space from my library (ive added it months ago when this issue was not present) and it works. Meaning that the licensing service still works in the backend and allows me to play the game as intended. Get your act together EA and take this seriously.
