EA/Steam A Way Out, can not invite my friend

Hello,
My friend and I bought a game in Steam.
We installed it, linked the EA account to Steam, and launched the game. When trying to invite a friend to the lobby over the network it has been showing this loading screen and it never loads, i cant invite anyone... any fix?
