Re: "The EA app timed out" Error even with good internet connection

For me the issue was that I wasn't logged into the correct account, I was trying to replay Titanfall 2 (I originally played it on Steam before this stupid app was required) and forgetting that I already had an EA account made a new one. I assume it was a DRM problem of the App not recognizing that I owned the game. I fixed it by logging into my old EA account in the app. No matter what though, this error message is incredibly misleading and unhelpful, it seems like in this thread alone there are 4 or 5 different problems that all have the same symptom. The customer support page was not helpful either. Considering all I wanted to do was play a singleplayer game that I bought on Steam and own and have played before, this is absolutely atrocious.
