Yeah, support already suggested that. There were no EA-related folders in ProgramData and only 1 empty one in Local. Deleting it didn't solve the problem. I suspect because I've never successfully installed the EA app, those folders won't be there.

Did you ever get any luck on this ? I have the SAME problem. It is driving me nuts, been like this for a whole year now, I keep trying every few months in case it has solved itself. People annoyingly keep suggesting the "delete EA folder" trick but I don't have any EA folders as I have not been able to install it yet. I used to love Origin and that worked perfectly, this pile of dogs poo doesn't even install. Surely there must be a fix by now, I believe I have tried EVERYTHING I can think of.

Did anyone ever get this figured out. i still can get mine to install either.
