can't use xbox gamepass ultimate ea play subsription

i have an xbox cloud gaming ultimate subrscription which includes ea play. i first used the console version and there everything was fine(can't remember if i used online or not.).

i now got an pc and opened the xbox app to download the new f1 24. it says it needs to install the ea app so i did. the app opened and the only thing i saw was my library with redeem code in it.

i logged in through the web or something and it said  i need my parents and an id. so i did that and did go through the steps. then i opened the ea app again but still nothing shows up. then my dad tried to add my teen account to an family account but we just can't get it to work. i see the email. i open it sign in with my xbox cridentials then i see this screen 

and i see no preffered methods.(maybe the send code button). when i press the sent code button

it says something went wrong and then kicks me right back to the sign in page. can someone please fix this?
