Incompatible Version - Steam and EA App
I need some help. i have 2 accounts i play. one purchased via steam, the other via the EA App directly.
Steam issue - So when i log into the EA app manually with the account attached to my steam account - it tells me i don't have access to this product, but it prompted me to get EA Play and start at trial? When i try to launch via steam, it works fine with the EA App open. This seems to act as designed if launching via Steam. But why not via the EA Play app? the ea account is showing i own the product so i should be able to launch via either interface?
EA App issue - as mentioned above, i have 2 accounts, 1 attached to steam, the other is an independent email that has an ea account. So when i log in with my credentials with the non-steam account i try to launch the EAFC25 app via the desktop (Mind you i have 2 applications labelled on the desktop to separate the steam application from the EA Application). When i load my library in EA play it says i don't have the game installed and prompted me to download it again. I went into my files and found the application on my driver to launch it manually and i get this error: 'Couldn't Launch EA SPORTS FC 25 Ultimate addition <break> An incompatible version of this game is installed on your device. Uninstall the version to launch"
The only possible, thing i could think of was that maybe because they are both saved on my M.2 drive (under separate paths and folders) the game is bugging out and thinking its non compatible. But i don't get it, I have 2 accounts in 2 separate host applications that are not both open at the same time (i log out of EA when i want to play on steam and close Steam when i want to play EA).
Both are ultimate additions, both where working now they are not? I did the App recovery and cleared cache. Im just lost for solutions? I should be able to have 2 separate applications launched by 2 separate hosts on my system shouldn't i?
R.I.P the P2W account and the RTG i guess. Will have to pick one ☹️ because im not uninstalling and reinstalling the game each week, that would be criminal.
