When I try to start the match right after the kit pick I get a black screen. It happens in ultimate team in every mode. The only exeption is mode rush. I was trying to fix it but nothing helps. Earlier I got blured screen of the match not including the icons like the players name in the bottom corners, cards or the score table.
Same problem here! I guess it appears due bad wifi-connection or because of the issue that your opponent is leaving the match right after the kit pick. However it's really frustrating because if you are playing Rivals and you have to restart FC25 it will delete your streak, which means you are losing your progress in the league...

It only happens when playing rivals or champs at random sometimes i am able to play sometimes i am shown the black screen and forced to close the app resulting in a DNF and a loss.
I have already cleared cache and resetted my ps5 trying to fix the problem.
Please solve as soon as possible i have already lost two champs playoffs because i had a black screen 3 times in both playoffs and am at the verge of deleting this game.

Am losing games and sats of my players the game really UT we can only play rush in rivals and champs it happens every second time . Game is not sturck cuz we can change songs but the screen is black .

For the third week running this issue steals matches From fut champs..
I start the match, choose the kits, proceed to the match. Black screen and menu music keeps playing. Only way to get out is to close the game completely. Which results in a loss.
Please help, last weekend costing me 4 out of the 15 games in fut champs. Absolute disgrace for a game I have been playing for 15 years running....
Hi bro am facing the same since EAFC24 , it happens in rivals and champs. There is no problem in rush. I have raised so many concerns to EA even tagged them in twitter . But they just want you to pay 7k for the game. @EA

Never happened to me in FC24. That is the strange thing...
I dont even know what is the issue here, i tried every damn solutions available on internet. But nothing’s is working is it because wifi modem is in different room ? I never faced any problems in fifa23
I have faced the very same issues since FC 24. I have opened ea help cases with them and been on live chats and all they have said was they will refer it to the technical team and that team will get back to me. I downloaded the ps4 version to see if it's the same issue but it's not. Even though the ai and gameplay is horrendous, I am guaranteed no black screen after the kit selection screen. However still a lot of disconnected games. @ea please fix this or offer us a solution to fix it. It's a joke that you take our money for a game we love and completely scam us of enjoying it by just brushing off the issues. I have had multiple chats and cases opened for the last game with no solution, even sending you a gameplay recording of what was happening.
And again, and again. Finally reached div 2, and it happens twice in a row. Down to div 3 again.
How can someone reach the good stuff in the higher divions when every time you go on fire this happens en you get a "loss".

@joshiemendis Bro same here facing the issue since fc24 but when we download ps4 version it doesn’t give black screen but still there are lots kf disconnection, i have texted ea so many times with everything but they are not responsive and helping me out , kindly share me the thread where they responded back to you. Is your wifi far away from the console !?

Happens every weekend, just happened again. Really frustrating if you’re aiming for a certain number of wins and this * keeps happening. The lack of support is ridiculous

There is no fix these guys are making a fool of us, takes our money and then no support we should all do spam their socials with all these messages and issues we are facing let others know due to monopoly in market they are doing so when it was fifa23 we never faced this , since ea has monopoly in this they just dont care they wud fix it for streamers and pro players. But us no help, am really done with eafc for sure now now in eafc25 i cant play champs and rivals due to this and fun thing is that i had the same issue in eafc24. Own up your * and fix it EA.
The response was from a live chat support. But it's useless because they just say the same thing. Either edit ur wifi settings, clear cache on the game, or they'll report it to the technical department. They should have enough money to fix these issue since they're not paying FIFA for licensing rights lol. Just started using the PS5 version. no black screen yet but a lot of disconnections. Take me back to the FIFA era, at least I was not disconnected.
