Career Mode: Players not developing properly

This is PS5 btw.

Setting it to normal or whatever the usual rate is doesnt seem to work very well for the senior squad. It takes 24 weeks to have a 19 year old gain a level and 5 weeks for a 31 year old to gain a level.. This appears to be broken... the younger player should develop faster as the 31 year old is already developed.

Match XP and other indicators are broken.   

Ive played the same 19 yo RB in every match for 5-6 matches in a row and his Match XP is low. Really? How is that possible. His form is Very Good, so he shouldnt be taking 22 weeks for him to get to the next level.

In fact it seems Dev Bonus just varies from player to player.   A player is in good form yet his Dev Bonus is Low.  How?

GK Dev Bonuses are Average

Defensive players are Average

Midfielders all are Poor or Very Poor -  In fact I have a CAM who is excellent Form and yet his Dev Bonus is Poor.  How?

And forwards seem to be average as well regardless of form and playing time.

In fact it seems as one scrolls through the different players the Development information changes while on the screen with no games being played.  My GK form was Excellent, then after scrolling all the way down to see the other players I scroll back up to him and his form is now Good.

Something is buggy here and it will mess up the entire Career Mode because trying to rebuild a team will be very difficult if it takes 5 years to get a player to gain a some OVR.
