You seem to be confused about the reason why FiFA 1-23 and FC24 are so popular. The game is not played to "get a proverbial cookie every time you accomplish something". It is played because it resembles real football, and it lets players experience the pitch. Personally, I will keep playing as long as enjoyment vs frustration over programming bugs ratio is still reasonable.

If you want instant and constant rewards, try FUT mode of the FC24. The folks responsible for programming FUT will bend-over-backwards to accommodate all your desires.

    It's quite clear you're the one who's confused. No idea what you're on about. 

    We want promotion/relegation back because that's what 'resembles real football'. At least there was a sense of reward/consequence for your team.
