Controller Hijack or Bug in Rivals - Opponent Control Issue

While playing a Rivals match, it appeared that every player on my team was controlled independently, even though I was using only one joypad. My opponent was able to score and I was then disconnected. This is disgusting.

Additionally, my opponent does not appear in my recent match history. What is lack of transparency and record-keeping?

EA you should investigate whether this is a hack exploit or a game bug.
