What happens when the bug occurs? Press Conferences all start with the team Morale at Content and it rarely moves up. Players are angry for no reason even when team is winning and contract is renewed. And I have included a link to ALL career Mode complaints and issues from the Career Mode area which doesnt seem to be looked at by anyone from EA
What should be happening instead? Morale should be high when team is winning and the press conference should do something about raising morale

The Press Conference System is just plain broken.  Morale starts at Content at every single one.  Thats simply wrong.

The team has won every game all season and yet morale is content?  Player morale is low on most players.   Players are angry they arent playing after having just played 5 matches in a row.

Players are complaining about not playing out injured!  

There are major issues with Career Mode as usual.  Objectives for example are unreasonable in player and manager career and need to be removed or turned off.  Or they dont even work.

And I suspect many of these from this thread are carry overs from previous years as well as ones that have popped up due to the new additions.

We pay money for this game and we expect it to work properly.  Whilst the game play is pretty good, there are game breaking/ruining issues that are affecting all those who play this mode.

We appreciate the additional things added to CM.   But if the old problems still exist, why arent those fixed first before adding new ideas, like coaches that cant be fired with crashing the game for example.

People are upset.  And for good reason.  Releasing a game full of bugs is not acceptable.

    @aenima6969 EA Just moved my bug report to this page. This is how ignorant they are. They read moved this to the thread I was referring to for them to look at... Wow. If I did my job like this I think I would get dismissed. They dont give a care in the world at all about our issues at all.

    I signed in just to reply to you…. The morale is ruining my career too. 

    im playing as Stockport and I have a 72 overall winger, best in my team, captain, plays every game and in every formation. And yet he’s at 0 happiness due to play time??? Asking to leave no matter how often I reload the save. guess I can’t play 

    We are also in first place by a wide margin and he’s  also got the negative morale for team performance… doesn’t make sense

    @x12aero26x Nope, they havent given us anything to turn off. There was this morale issue before, its been around, they supposedly fixed it when they first had it in the game, now its back. Just like they didnt listen to us about the objectives. We asked for them to be removed, or an option NOT to be fired. So this way, if we wanted to play with a bunch of 17 year old prospects we could and not get the sack. But apparently EA doesnt care about our opinions, which has been the case for years. I'm pretty much done with this game and moving to Football Manager on going because I just cant take EA's unacceptable business practices. Why i thought things would be different this year because of the updated game is beyond me. Nothing has changed, its still bugged completely, in every mode. Ive been to EA here in Florida for a job interview many years ago. I did not get the job, but I saw how they ran things, for Madden and spoke to lots of people. And I can tell you, they dont care about career mode at all. First hand knowledge of that. They care about Ultimate Team and that's it. So I assume its like that at all their developer locations.

    Why hasn't EA given us any feedback yet. You would have thought that the money they save from the fifa split they might be in the position to fix issues and have better communication. I got this game on the 29th and my career mode is just sat there til they fix it. Just an ETA would be appreciated. Not a peep from them, it's disgusting to be honest.

    I don't  care about ultimate team. Never have and never will. If it wasn't for all of us that supported EA for all these years then you wouldn't be where you are today. Show some love and fix career mode please. Show some loyalty.

    Hi all apologies just did some catching up been away and haven't even bothered finishing my 10 hour trial on this garbage yet

    Highly recommend SP Football Life 2024 (if you're on PC), basically PES 2021 with updated gameplay, graphics, teams etc and it's free - until this EAFC becomes playable (in a few years)

    @hucksy I think Football Manager 24 will be a wise investment and will last for quite a while. Demo's FM23 and its pretty solid. Cant play as a player, but who cares. Anything is better than a broken game.

    @aenima6969 Yeah definitely love some Football Manager and they're switching to a new engine for FM25 which should upgrade everything massively (if only EA would...)

    Career Mode

    Addressed the following issues:

    • After signing a new player in Manager Career, the Best Possible Deal could have displayed an incorrect value.
    • Custom Tactics could have reset to default when adjusting them outside of matches in Manager Career.
    • Youth Academy goalkeepers did not have any PlayStyles in Manager Career.
    • A stability issue could have occurred when attempting to fire a coach in Manager Career.
    • In Manager Career, the Wishlist apply button callout did not function as intended.
    • Some activities were incorrectly displayed during the Calendar tutorial in Manager Career.
    • In Player Career, the Retirement Gift Activity could have incorrectly occurred multiple times for one player.
    • In Player Career, the Scout Bonus did not apply to some Objectives.
    • The camera did not follow the player correctly in the Player Career Set Pieces Training Drill.

    A good amount of real faces (starheads) have been added as well.  At least 100 new ones and updates coming back.  Well done EA 😉

    All I know is that it has now been fixed so it no longer glitches out. I'm so happy about it.

    AI clubs not keeping large enough squads is a killer problem. There are a million free agents, AI clubs forfeit games, can’t sell players due to small squads. This has been an issue for multiple years too…
