Nice one! They're back on the up, hopefully you can make the return to Premier League happen.

Good job so far, and nice to start off with a comfy win vs Leicester. You're quite the copycat though. Not only did I play with Sunderland last year, I also signed Conor Bradley for them (though later, having 80 or 82 OVR at the time). Joke aside, this will be fun to follow. Too bad you NEED to write text in each update, not being allowed to let the images stand alone.

Yes, if only the forum was still there. But they removed it, didn't they? I don't think you can find it anywhere, but I do still have some notes somewhere, I think. So if you need some namedropping, I might be able to dig something up 😉

Good start so far in the league. Two wins and a draw, though lucky to avoid defeat with the late penalty at Norwich. Out of the cup though, but since it wasn't a priority, I suppose it wasn't the worst game to lose, especially with 46 league games to cope with too.

Bishop in goal, Bishop being the manager. Prepare for all the "are they related?" questions... In Denmark we have a similar case with national coach Kasper Hjulmand and new rising midfielder Morten Hjulmand. And no, they are not related in any way.

I didn't know the old forum was gone. I thought it was just not able to be used but could be viewed still. That's sad if it is completely gone.

Interesting! I always fancy a little Danish connection, so kudos for doing that. I wonder who it is... 

I think I also had myself believe that a lot of Danes have previously played for Sunderland. But now I can't really think of anyone else than Thomas Sørensen and Nicklas Bendtner... 

Good start so far, in reality probably good to be out of the cup, but for game reasons. Would've been good to have the extra fixtures for the fringe players, but then again it's a long season in the Championship.

Shame about the Cup, but the focus must be on getting promoted, not an accidental opt out towards European football (though that would be quite special as a 2nd tier team)

Good find that free agent. A pacey one, it seems, should do well to challenge on the wing. Funny to see this Irish player in a Scotland shirt though, did he change his national allegiance at some point? Sort of gives me the Jack Grealish/Declan Rice vibe, having previously represented Ireland as youth internationals, now playing for England in stead.
