Re: Custom Content Not Working When Installed

dcdb0.dbc is 12.9 KB. I already tried reinstalling all my custom content before to try and get it to work but this time I deleted it all of my CC from the game launcher and I put in the downloads folder to install it faster using the game launcher. I'll see if it works this time

13 kb is certainly not a whole lot of cc. Yeah, reinstall through the launcher.

So the files in DCCache are bigger now ?

Is none showing up or only part ? Did you also try to install store content or just third party ?

the file is still the same size. I get my CC mostly from The Sims Resource and only my custom Sims (which I get from thesims3.com) are showing up

So you download the stuff from thesimsresource (which are Sims3Packs) and copy those files into the downloads folder. Then you start the launcher and find those on the download tab in the launcher. You click on install but the file stays the same size ?

How many downloads did you install and what kind were they ?

I don't know how many because I have a lot but they're mostly clothes and objects with a few houses and community lots

Did you try installing just one to see if the file grows in size ? 

Are you installing them all together ?

In the game launcher I just select all of the files and click install

OK, maybe one fails and makes the others not install.

Install a bunch of them like maybe 5 and see if they get installed (watch the size of the file)

all my CC was installed and working before I has the black screen loading error, but I will try that and see if it helps
