Re: Will an AMD Radeon HD 8400 graphics card support the sims 3 well?

The AMD APU A6 has the graphics chip on the same chip as the cpu and I doubt if there is a video slot. Many all-in-ones are like laptops and can not be upgraded like a desktop. As a mid gaming card would probably require a power supply upgrade at the same time and the all-in-one probably has a custom power supply or a power brick like a laptop. I checked several specs (HP makes several versions) and I can not find any mention of a video expansion slot. While the base game may run at mid settings, PETS is a more demanding expansion pack and that computer may not run pets very well. I would have to see a full dxdiag but the AMD Radeon HD 8400 is like the Intel HD 4000 which also has trouble with Sims 3.
