For F1 24 Game: ERS Harvesting

I understand they got rid of being able to change the ERS deployment modes, where there used to be 5 you could switch to at any time. Nonetheless, in real life F1 the drivers harvest numerous times throughout a race, where there rear lights will blink, and it's not just when they are below 10% like in the game. Just like using ERS, where I would assume most people set it to "press & hold", there should be a "press to use" for ERS harvesting. 

The catch; I said press to use as opposed to press and hold to do it. For this "press to use" system, they should make it so that you have a set number of times that you can do the press to use in a race (ex: 15 in a 50% race and 30 in a 100% race), and if you do deploy the "press to use" for the harvesting, it will be a mandatory five second harvesting period, and that counts as one use. So obviously in a 50% race, you would get 15 of those, and it would maybe put your engine power down by let's say 5 or 10%, however recover your ERS by 10pts in that five second harvesting period. Also it would be a case of once you press to use the harvesting, it cannot be gotten out of (or you can't use ERS) until the five second period is up.

This would add a strategic element to racing. And also there could be an option to turn this off, and just have the regular deployment system as we have it now.

I have now done two posts giving relatively simple, yet very good ideas for the next game, EA, come on y'all, I'm doing this free of charge. These ideas can be amazing additions to the upcoming game.
