I neversawan update but I was able to complete the playoff.
The issue is still not fixed for me, I completed the first stage (St Andrews R&A Amateur Championship)
I completed this event got loaded back to the main career screen and now every time I try and progress, be that by clicking the event tab or skipping event my game completely crashes and the only way I can close the game is by ending the aplication.
I am on PC and playing through steam.
The issue has been happening since game release
- @EA_Illium The new update makes it to where I can't even get the game to load! At least before the patch I could play challenges. Now I can't play anything. Have tried reinstalling game, drivers, DirectX, everything. Just shows Masters screen then crashes with a DirectX Error
"DirectX function "getDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG ("The GPU will not respond to more commands") Everything is updated. All drivers, game repaired, cache cleared, lawn mowed, kitchen sink cleaned. I mean everything.
Again, this was not a problem before the most recent update. I don't know what's wrong, but I do know that I just want this game to work for goodness sake. Sending out an update to fix the game and then the update actually breaking the game even more is frustrating as you can imagine. this is BRUTAL, the new patch still hasn't fixed this. i still can't progress past the playoff, crash immediately after i sink the last put. ☹️
I just played again today and as soon as the playoffs started it glitched to a close up of grass
