Re: Is it safe to remove the trial after buying the full game?

@KingCramhole I usually recommend starting the full version and check for anything missing, if all looks good you can use the EA app to uninstall the trail you first installed to save storage space.

  • Just launched the full game, no issues.

I also don't see any way to remove the "trial" through the app. I am only able to see 2 versions when I go to add/remove programs. I can try to remove both and if needed, reinstall the game again.

@KingCramhole In the EA App go to your library however over the trial and check what options you have when you select the 3 tile dots
  • I don't have the 3 dot option on the trial for NFS Unbound. How do I uninstall this from my computer after the trial expired? I have not bought the game.

It's taking up over 30 GB of my hard drive space!

Hi @4b95cf5e1f08a18f To check what options do you have in the EA App? to confirm is that where it was first installed?

Also, you can use Windows itself by going to settings > Apps >  find NFS Unbound > select the 3 dots on the far right > uninstall

    Cheers!

  • The trial was installed via the EA App. There are no options for NFS Unbound. It is listed under the library and under "My Games" instead of the "Installed" grouping.

This game is no listed under Windows Apps (in Windows 11). Nor is it listed under the Programs and Features > Uninstall a program from the old style control panel.

But yet it still takes up my space. I'm about ready to just uninstall EA and not use any of your software.

    Hi @4b95cf5e1f08a18f

Can we try the following steps and check if the EA App is able to see the install?

    • Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
    • Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
    • EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
    • Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from
      • EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair)
      • EGS - Repair (Library > Tile dots > Manage > Verify)
      • Steam - Verify in your library
    • Put your device in a Clean Boot then launch the game

If not we can try deleting the install through file explorer as something else may have happened if Windows no longer sees the game installed.

    Cheers!
