Can a bug be raised for commentary in general please. I see too many bugs to raise specifics, calling out that I've had bogeys when I have a par, saying I might win my first tournament when I have won before, wrong number of shots compared to what I've hit. Too many to mention.

Agreed - this happens often in Quick Play matchplay, commentator talks about saving Par when last player to play made birdie, or getting away with a bogey when last player to play made par.
Overall commentary on Match Play is weak, too much focus on Birdie / Par / Bogey like Stroke play commentary would be, game would be improved by having Match Play specific commentary, focused on the match play score, rather than commentating on irrelevant stroke play hole scores.
Been playing Quick Game Match Play against my son.
Unfortunately we can't play with our own golfers for reasons well documented already, and we suffer from appallingly inaccurate commentary, and vibrations only working on the "originally logged in" controller (PS5)...but anyway.....
Noticed that there appears to be a default, uneditable "Gimme" setting, that is not shown, or commentary explained.
On many occasions when Golfer 1 has, say made par, and Golfer 2 has a short putt for Par to tie the hole, the game moves to the next hole, and counts the hole as a tie.
As the commentators never mention anything remotely to do with Match Play (commentating on stroke play basis), and as you don't get any on screen messaging to say "Gimme", there is no video of your golfer waving the player to indicate a gimme, and no shot by shot scorecard to even verify that a gimme was given and the hole counted as a par to tie...it is often confusing.
I have no idea what distance this auto Gimme is given (it doesn't appear to be anything to do with the Auto Tap in Setting (as we have it "off"), and I cannot find any shred of explanation about it online, menu options etc. I am pretty sure its given my son putts of 3ft +...the cheat!
Am I going daft, does anyone know of the right menu for this, or is it a game "feature"?

For me, the commentators comment me correctly, but they also comment my AI partner as if they were me. So when he’s at -2 and like 4 shot off the lead, and I’m at -6 , in the lead, after the ai scores they say things like “and this will take him 3 shots clear”
they also give my birdie streaks to the ai.
in addition, they also comment on how I missed the cut multiple times, when i literally always made the cut.
