Re: MyTeam liveries?

From how little ive seen in the reveal trailers and deep dives im not expecting any changes to come from it. 

Having skipped F1 23, I’ll say I’m very disappointed in the default badges, livery, helmet and suit. Even the initial to but offerings are underwhelming. 

The only changes they’ve made were to remove everything!! What is the point in having ‘My Team’ when they game has only given players ONE livery, Helmet, Suit and Glove. Where are the customisation options? It’s empty!

Even the ‘Store’ only has 3 helmet and car liveries to choose from….

But of course you can buy about 20 different pairs of shoes for your menu avatar…. 

Hop into an online lobby and everyone using the exact same car, because it’s the only one available… 
It’s like banging your head against a wall with EA. £89.99 for the same game again? I wish it was!! F1 24 has even less content. Braking Point removed, France track removed, helmets and liveries removed, wet weather time trial removed, a good handling model removed, last year’s F2 content and you have to wait 6 months for the update. 

It's a shame to only have one choice for car livery and for helmet, gloves and suit. I'm not against the fact that some need to be unlocked, but we should be able to have a little more choice from the start, as was at least the case in previous games. This game is truly a major scam which will certainly be the last purchase on my part for future games if this is not corrected quickly.

I'd guess because not very many people used it (they didn't) and so it was potentially judged not worth the effort of keeping it in the game. About a year too late for this discussion though. And I'd suggest there are rather bigger concerns re. F1 24...

I would have thought that by now they would have added some things to at least spend pitcoin on. When they said they prioritized career mode I didn’t expect it to mean “We made My Team worse”. 

To me it looks like they want to get rid of My Team and I thought this last game too.

The facts simply speak for themselves...no improvements, no emphasis and no extras!

They must want the space for something else.

What other conclusion can be drawn with this info?

From my perspective it would seem the primary focus was with the enhanced driver career as well as the fanzone and challenge career as well.

This does kinda concern me as if the current cycle is to be followed then it (My Team) might be overlooked again if we get a Braking Point 3 (if anyone sees this please don’t bring it back unless the difficulty is significantly increased)

i have only played myteam for the achievements because i was waiting for the handling update so i will be starting those both soon

I predict no update to My Team next year, we get Braking Point 3

Then in 26 we get new My Team, which will really just align with the new Career mode now with maybe some new added features. 

Who really knows though...

The biggest my team issue in the past was the second driver sim bonus. Since the player owns the team the new career mode features are harder to fit in. Maybe if you seperate driver from owner and you choose which driver to use each race you can somehow squeeze the features in. 

F1 Manager 24 is out this week and at a very reasonable £29.99 which has an incredible livery editor that makes a mockery of F1 24’s £89.99 price tag…

How can you even include a mode like My Team, where the very purpose of it is to create your own team, brand and identify, and then only give us ONE livery to use!! 

You might think it was just pure greed to get us to use micro transactions and spend pit coin buying more…. But no, there isn’t anything to buy!! The store is empty!! 

It's not greed, it's just incompetence!! 

Why not have just copy and pasted last years helmet and livery store assets at the very least??
