Re: Does anyone know what the “S Rank” means on the leaderboards?

I was wondering the same thing, if it does mean Season Rank, then is there some kind of Season Leaderboard? I've played quite a few online tourns & have an S Rank of 529, but is that good or bad..?

under Daily Tournaments you can view the "Global Leaderboard" with Square button on PS5.  Only shows Top 100 of the season.  I agree, would be good to know how many total players on the leaderboard. 500th out of 50,000 is much different than 500th out of 2,000.

EA, if you are listening, would be cool to see some tournaments/majors/special just for those grinding out the tournaments that are in the Top 100 or something.  Or give special rewards at end of season for those in top X S Rank.

  • The person with -12 from a 4 hole tournament that someone posted earlier had an S Rank of 5000 something.  That post seems to have disappeared, I assume because the person they were questioning had their name visible and that is for some reason a big no-no.  That person is still there on the leaderboard as of an hour ago.  Now, the suggestion that the person was cheating would seem very viable if their rank was so low and the score was so implausibly exceptional.  Could have been a bug I guess, but I doubt it.

This will have been the case. It is specifically against the forum rules to 'name and shame' anyone as a cheater:

  • @DaveE926 i think there are at least 20000 players in that leaderboard, but yes, i would know how long is that list.
    Actually i am 20, so would know i am 20 of how?? 1000, 1 million? 😃

S Rank sadly feels to me like something where just playing more leads at least in large part to a higher rank more than say the mean finishing position that I think would be more meaningful.
