@NicOLAv_cL hi. I have the exact same issue. I am Gold III, A safety rating, and always struggle to find good numbers at every time of the day. It’s a very common problem plaguing ranked, which we desperately hope is being looked into, or at least the way you can earn points in this mode.
It's absolutely ridiculous how people can't be satisfied with a lobby of 10-12 people and just quit before the timer runs out until there's only 3-4 people left. Especially when there is very evidently aren't any more lobbies.
What are these people thinking?
Could not agree more guys. They should simply change the importance of lobby size for the score you get. You should not be punished for being put into a lobby with 5 or 8 guys less than other people.
Hopefully they change the points system. But I agree, people should not be leaving (particulary when there are 10+ people in the lobby)
Well, let's take a look at other games and how they manage their ranked game modes. Some games give players a penalty when they leave a ranked lobby - how about that? They get a time penalty and maybe also a point penalty. A proper solution to people leaving lobbies, which results in races with only a handful of players, isn't necessarily rocket science...
