Re: "Texas wedge"

It’s designed that way so the user can think about what shots he would like to be added to their round.  99% of people playing put points into putting I would imagine.  They don’t realize having zero points in putting will give them an advantage elsewhere.

however I have the same problems with completing a few challenges where I need the Texas wedge.  I see your name at the top of the leaderboards daily so you are not short of VC….. adjust your points temporarily and do the challenges, then switch it back.

    I don't particularly see this as any different to other shot types in the game that need to be unlocked and then improved with skill points.

    I unlocked the Texas Wedge but never used it so now have zero points in putting.

    @Ultrasonic_77 You’re right that you don’t need this during regular gameplay around the green in career or online, but he’s talking about challenge mode. Some challenges require you to use the Texas wedge and ‘ make the shot ‘ off the green; if you don’t have the Texas wedge unlocked you can’t complete the challenge….. chipping it in won’t count.
