Why deleting Nyck de Vries was a VERY BAD idea...

this is just personal preference, but if anyone at EA reads this (PLEASE!), listen to me.

I know you mean well with bringing Daniel Ricciardo back to F1, but there are several reasons why this is not a good idea, among them these:

• The 3 is still available for the player, and the 21 is still unavailable. This is similar to F1 22, in which Nikita Mazepin didn't drive in 2022 at all, but because he initially was confirmed for 2022 until events that I don't want to go further in depth, he was sacked, however, the 9 remained unavailable.
• The Monza scenario still has Nyck de Vries in it, which clearly shows that he is still in the game's files, yet you still refuse to give us an option to choose between Daniel Ricciardo and Nyck de Vries in a GP Mode race or at the start of Career Mode and instead insert both to the driver market.
• Nyck de Vries drove the first race of the season. So simply deleting him out of the game like he never existed breaks the realism, as players that are new to the game without watching the real races or intensely following the latest news won't know about the Dutchman.
• Daniel Ricciardo is not present in the sticker gallery. So again, deleting Nyck de Vries out of the game deletes a driver for which the game provides information, but new players will never see him in the game at all.

To be real with you, EA... If I were a game developer and I know about a driver being sacked and a new one coming to replace that driver, instead of simply deleting the driver that got sacked, I would add the new driver to the driver market in Career Mode, but keep the driver roster as is, meaning both Nyck de Vries and Daniel Ricciardo are available in Career Mode, but de Vries will still be selectable in GP Mode. I mean, F1 Manager 22 by Frontier still has Cem Bölükbasi that you deleted from F2 22, but that's an entirely different story that's irrelevant right now.

But since I know that EA won't do anything about this and I doubt that anybody important is going to read this and I'm just writing all these words for nothing, let's just cut to the chase:

I'm very sad to say that Nyck de Vries is dead (at least in-game, don't take this wrong).

Pure greatness that nobody could see... except for me. You shall never be forgotten #DEV21.

Your sympathy in the replies, please. Nyck de Vries deserved a seat, a chance to shine in F1, and EA just took it from him.

PS: I know that not everyone is a fan of Nyck de Vries, but you have to consider that he had the worst car, just like Nikita Mazepin in 2021. What could have happened had the car been much better? This in turn makes his stats unrealistic. When do we finally get the driver rating slider?
