Wet track with only dry line

100% support this. The basics of a driving game (the driving) have been overlooked. I would like to see a new weather model as well as track surface implemented in future. Proper drying lines, driving off line in the wet for better traction and dynamic water levels like I have seen in GT7 videos.

If the basics (track/tyres/weather) are there it adds far more gameplay hours than something that is a few hour 1 time play through story...

What if I told you this used to be in previous games and they took it out? Don't know exactly when, but dry lines definitely used to be a thing, as was driving your inters into wet spots to try and cool them and extend their usable life.

I could have sworn this was a thing in F1 2017. I remember a tutorial that told you to drive over wets spots to cool them down and I even think Jeff (rip) used to say that over the radio..maybe the line never totally dried but I think it was a lot better than it is in this game..I think it changed in 2021 (didn’t buy 2020 so could have been changed in that game)

Funny how once the years began starting with a 2, CM totally wet themselves as a viable F1 developer. I'm on PC, I have mods available to me, I don't need this run of anti-consumerism from them. I don't need them to continue insulting my intelligence with the blatant dumbing down of the franchise. They got me this year, but that F1 2017-19 collection is looking mighty tempting right now. 

Just take a look at Grand Prix 4. They implemented amazing dynamic weather 21 years ago 😉

F1 2013 was my first real foray into the franchise and it's crazy how well it holds up graphically, let alone as a sublime F1 experience. So good that it's bought a decade's worth of good graces from me. Man, Codemasters have really lost touch with their former greatness.

Alternatively, the devs could simply remove rain/wet conditions completely, just like they've removed wet time trials. Instead, they could add some stickers of rain. How about that?

Oh yes I remember Grand Prix 4. At the time I was amazed by the management of the rain. For example, when the track dried up, you first saw a narrow dry band on the ideal trajectory appear and little by little this band gradually widened to end up making the track completely dry. and obviously when we got out of this dry strip we lost grip. it was wonderful for the time. How today we can't have that in F1 23??? And another thing concerning the rain, in GP4 in helmet view, we saw the drops of water on the visor going to the side with the speed. that was awesome... i want that too in F1 23.

Weather need big rework. The state of weather is unaceptable in these days and hardware we have. Just imagine 2013 weather today after 10 years of little improvements. No they completely killer it. Also AMS 2 or Pcars have very good weather system
