No Tattoo's for Custom Players NOT In Superstar Mode?!

So please tell me why the custom tattoo, likeness and extra head options are only available via the superstar mode? I really enjoy the Team Builder and like creating a custom team with all new custom players to replace meh teams in the NFL (sorry Panthers fans). It seems crazy I can change an NFL players name and face, I can make Jordan Love a 5FT white midget and change his name to something crazy, but I can't put a tattoo on him?? Seems like the only reason the really cool player customization options are in Superstar mode is so EA can continue to push their micro-transactions. Very annoying, I got so excited when tattoos were announced, only to be disappointed when Team Builder teams and custom franchise players don't get them. Not to mention the preset head options for players in Team Builder and in the "create custom player" are some of the most oddly shaped humans I've ever seen....

The coding is already there, so I don't get the issue. I just want to make a team of mustached, tattooed dudes but nooooo.
