This sounds like your console is overheating.

Try cleaning the vents, fan and heat sinks/fins with a vacuum cleaner.

Using a can of compressed air can clean a console better than other methods, make sure it is plugged out of the electricity and that you hold the can vertically so no liquid comes out.

Storing the console out in the open rather than in an enclosed cabinet can help too.

    @EA_BarryThank you for replying.

    I had considered that already.

    My Xbox is stored on a flat table with no other objects near it for at least 18 inches and open air around it (no enclosure).

    It is has been cleaned and is free of any material that might restrict air flow.

    This is also the only game I have trouble with. I can play other games for hours with no issue.

    What else can I try?
