Re: Texmod crashes after 15 minutes of playing
Thank you very much zet69 but I found a solution just a few minutes ago. Just to let anybody who's reading know what's the problem:
Texmod can't handle safely more than 50 to 60 files, if you do load more it will likely crash sooner or later. And most important, you have to load only the files you need, especially in terms of large texture replacements like for entire Maps or for clothes used by many people (i mean multifunctional replacements). Remember to always load only the files you need in a particular moment, by doing so you're going to reduce boot time, loading times and save framerate.
And for your request i'm happy to let you know that graphic modifications, be that they affect multiplayer or not, won't get you banned in any case.
You can find a pretty big collection of tex replacements in the following BioSocial thread, just make sure you have a capable computer configuration (at least 8 gigs of RAM and 1 of vga RAM) and also make sure you follow carefully the instructions there to deal with Origin (it won't let you play with tex replacements otherwise) and then you'll be up and running in no time 🙂
