Heya, what working for me:
- Execute MassEffectConfig.exe
- Change the settings for your normal use (maybe a default resolution bugged)
- I changed to Windowed Mode to test (and changed in-game later)
Then worked after that... 🙂

I've tried installing from disk to Windows 8 (just got an Alienware PC so I can actually play stuff) and when I click Play in the launch screen it just goes to the Configure utility, then won't work ("The program has stopped working" sort of message). 😕mileysad: Help!!!
