Quick Resume causes issues in all our sports games. That's because they need an online connection. When using Quick Resume, the game is essentially in a sleep mode state. The connection is severed though so when you start it back up, it needs to reconnect. This isn't always a smooth process. For example, I play a lot of NHL 23. Every time I start it up again, I have to give it a good 30 seconds or need to connect to an offline mode and then go back to the main menu to restore the connection. You can also exit out of the game and load in to it again. So, in the future, I would suggest trying one of these. Most likely, exiting out of Madden and loading back in to it will resolve this.
