Do you have the game installed on an external hard drive or have anything else plugged into the USB slot like a controller charger? I've seen some launching and crashes issues when the game is installed on some external hard drives.

When games are crashing back to the Xbox Home Screen that can be cache-related with the Xbox. Try power cycling the console to see if that helps prevent it from dashboarding.

How to power cycle your Xbox console:

  1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button  on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
  2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

  1. Plug the console power cable back in.
  2. Press the Xbox button  on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

    Same issues. Changed the dns, restarted the Xbox. Unplugged the Xbox, uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, nothing plugged into the usb. NOTHING at all helps. Super frustrating anything else I can do?

    I moved it off of my external, and did a full power reset. Still won’t launch. It’s the disc version, too.

    And yes, I changed my DNS, and was about to the play the game for about a month (got the game for Christmas).
