Re: Games Attempt to Load and Crash Until my 2nd or 3rd Try

@themobbmurder

No, it only says that the path to the faulty application is "W:\Origin\Battlefield 1 Open Beta\bf1.exe"

The real  problem is the "RTSSHooks64.dll", this DLL is part of the "RivaTuner Statistics Server" that is installed with MSI Afterburner.

I would suggest to clean reinstall afterburner. (de-install Afterburner from the Windows control panel > reboot > install the newest version > reboot.

    Any reason why this just screws with origin? I always download rivatuner to get fps and all the onscreen info. But everytime I boot up there's a connection issue. A pop up saying something like...rivatuner couldn't connect to the server.

    I don't think that the "connection to the update server" problem is related. I have the same connection issue with RivaTuner, but the program and games work just fine.

    I prefer to update my programs manually anyway so I did not searched for a solution and just disabled the RivaTuner update funktion. That took care of the pop up.

    Thanks for the XP.

    Edit: You could try to deactivate the Origin overlay. It might interfere with the RivaTuner overlay.

    I have tried deactivating the overlay. I'll reinstall this weekend and let you know what ends up happening. I did reinstall afterburner a while back but found out that I forgot to uninstall rivertuner. I have relocated origin to my 3rd ssd now, with only the saves and cashe going to c: next I'll reinstall the beta msi afterburner. I'm running two gtx1080s in sli so I need that beta for voltage oc
