Did you restarted Origin after disabling the Overly? (Added that later, not sure if you saw it)
Do you have third party software for your mouse installed?
Yep just tried restarting origin, no change.
I do have Logitech gaming software installed, but same thing happened before installing the program
I really appreciate your quick replies!

No problem.
Do you have any other overlay software, Geforce Experience, Fraps, MSI Afterburner as example, installed.
Is it possible that a Windows program tries to get in the foreground constantly? (Pop-ups etcetera)
- Just uninstalled geforce experience, nope!
Couple of hours ago, i even tried reinstalling windows (after formatting), but same thing happened. I'm guessing every windows 10 users (at least) must be experoencing this. It's really weird because this doesn't happen in the first, nor the third game. Which windows build do you use? (Is the AU already installed?)
I run the game on Windows 10 Pro build15086 and a gtx1070 (GTX970 before) without that issue.
- Windows 10 home version. (Build 10240)
What do you mean by AU? Now it's way behind bedtime were I live.
Please create a DxDiag and post it with your next reply. You can do that with the "choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.
I will have a look at it tomorrow.
The Anniversary Update, but you already answered my question.
Because you just installed Win10 new from a build 10240 medium, it cant be at 15086, but was your previous Windows on build 15086?
Posted dxdiag.
Thanks for helping me out.
good night!
I'm not sure what the build was previously, maybe I should try installing that AU if possible.
Edit: after searching, I'm pretty sure I had AU before the re-install! (changed start menu etc..)
You can get the newest version with the media creation tool.
It could be the culprit because the new Nvidia driver are not written for build 12040, but I can't promise you that it will solve the problem.
Edit: Saw your Edit just now. Ok, will look at your DxDiag tomorrow and replay then.
Installed AU, but same problem.. I feel like I've tried everything.. I'm close to giving up now haha đ
I couldn't find anything outstanding in your DXDiag that would explain this error.
If you ALT / Tab out of the game and then immediately in again, does the error persist?
You also could try a clean boot and test the Game afterwards. That would rule out third party program or services problems.
Just tried them both, still the same âšī¸
It really might just be the game....(format, reinstall, 1&3 doesn't have problems, etc) Weird that I don't see anyone else having this problem.
Well, I never heard about that error here on AHQ or elsewhere, so I'm afraid that it must be something on your system.
OK, if you ALT / TAB the error persists? In Full-screen and in Windowed mode?
Did you tested with another mouse and/or on another USB port?
alt-tab, full-screen, windowed, all yes.
I should try with a new mouse!
I'll get one tomorrow (currently 2am here) and report back.
Just tested with another mouse. Its the same.
Sorry to hear that.
According to your DxDiag you only have one hard disk, so you reinstalled the game too, right?
If so the only ideas I have left are setting your Monitor to full 60Hz respectively 59Hz ( DxDiag shows 59.951Hz) and maybe tray the HDMI Port of your Monitor and trying different settings in the game graphic menu and the NVCP.
I'll try tinkering with that!
Regardless of the outcome, thanks for all the advice đ
Holly *!! the problem solved itself!
I just installed GTA V to my PC, and ME2's cursor problem is now gone!!
I'm guessing the problem was related to some directx thing....
Anyway, thanks!
I figured out the reason:
The problem was caused by my "Korean' keyboard.
GTA 5 has a tendency to disable international keyboards into English only keyboards, causing ME2's cursor problem to solve itself after running GTA 5, because my keyboard is now English only (lol)
I'll have to turn my keyboard into English-only keyboard when playing ME2 from now on đ (very easy to do, one-click away).
Who have thought that GTA5 could do such thing? đ đ
Good to hear and thanks for posting the solution!Have fun gaming.

@jamyo I'll also add my thanks to the thread. đ
You probably know this already, but Alt & Shift is the default keyboard shortcut to toggle between languages, which might be even quicker than the swapping method you use already. - @jamjyo Thank you, thank you, thank you for coming and posting the solution even you said it was already solved for you.
I've been having this problem with a different game the last couple of days and couldn't find any solution after visiting a lot of websites until I ran into your post. So, many years later you've helped this fellow folk, I just registered to give my thanks to you, thanks a mill!
