Based on what you described it sounds like the save file for that Franchise is most likely corrupted, unfortunately. If the PS4 crashed while the game was loading or saving data it might have damaged the save file. Unfortunately those are local saves, and we don't have a way of recovering them from our side.

Same thing just happened to me. I've spent hundreds of hours customizing my offline dynasty. I had 3 save files just to avoid any saves getting corrupt! Well guess what. All 3 of them won't work anymore. Sorry but a local save isn't going to crash on 3 separate occasions. None of my other games do this. My other offline franchise works just fine. What are you going to do about it community manager? I want a refund.
That happened to me as well Tuesday. Now none of my 5 or 6 different franchises will load and I cant even play an exhibition game without it kicking me out. Any ideas?
This just happened to me on madden 22 , I was months in , it was in franchise 2029 and now I can’t open it.
