  • On PC (Steam). And yes, I know there exists a fan patch for the Joker teeth, but I want BioWare to step up and fix all these damn issues themselves!

The chances for that are imho very low by now.

So I would suggest to use the Mod and call it a day.

I appreciate your input (I dont) but I'm looking forward to raising awareness on these issues and I dont think being negative nancies is beneficial in any way shape or form

To be fair, outright saying that he is wasting his time by trying to raise the awareness of the game's developers is really sad.

It is extremely rude towards us that BW seemingly abandoned their product three months ago in complete silence, and we are supposed to "call it a day".

The fact that the last pinned post is one that contains mods is just a joke. Add the fact that the only thing EA staff does around here anymore is delete any other mod links.

Yeah, exactly, I'm not even expecting anything back realistically, I just want to highlight these threads to any poor sod what plays Mass Effect 3 in 2 years and realizes he might be crazy seeing things with Joker's teeth and then he will look up this thread and see how little of a crap EA and BW gave about stupid bugs that ppl knew for years and would probably take less than 30 minutes to fix.

I don't disagree, I would like them to communicate with us as much as you do, but I also completely understand why the don't do it.

Simply because it makes no difference. They will always get flack no matter if they say something or not.

This bugs where in the original trilogy and Bioware did not fix them back then, and they also not fixed them in the MELE, so it is save to asume that the don't deem them serious enough to fix them at all.

I already explained why Bug sometimes not get fixed, because it is deemed to risky to fix them, because there are technical issues and because they are superficial and economic reasons speak against it.
You can see the response of a Bioware employer to a similar topic on the old BSN in this post of @sundance31us on uBSN.

There is no and never will be a AAA game without bugs, there will be no AAA game that get all bugs fixed, especially if it is incredible complicated massive RPG that actually are 3 games in one and that takes over the decisions of the player from the previous game.

So you can go on and complain everyday about the studio that gave you this incredible game in the first place because they dare not to fix all the bugs in the game for the 59,99 you paid, or you can enjoy the games.

    I choose the second.

If you choose the first, feel free to do so.

It was not Bioware that suggested that it is better to use a functioning workaround that cost 5 minutes to install, and call it a day, it was me.
I don't speak for Bioware nor for EA, so if you deem my suggestion as "rude" so be it. I already explained why I made this suggestion.

I explained this one before, maybe you missed it.

This post was made and pinned by me (With the help of other Heroes, especially @Fred_vdp.) because this is a moderated players help players board.

It was not made or pinned by EA nor by Bioware nor did they in any way asked for such a thread.

As said, this is a community help board and therefore we search for ways to actually help players and that includes circumventing reminding bugs with mods.
It is not an official EA technical support board, you've been asked to post bugs and glitches here because EA staff can then get information and pass it on to the studio, but that's it for official technical support.

It is not me who's missing the point, but you. In fact, several points.

"So you can go on and complain everyday about the studio that gave you this incredible game in the first place because they dare not to fix all the bugs in the game for the 59,99 you paid, or you can enjoy the games."

So why the hell did they re-release it, if it is just as broken as the originals? It's more of a legacy than a legendary edition. "It is safe to assume that they don't deem them serious enough to fix them at all", geez, how is that acceptable for you?

Oh, it's not serious, the game just crashes if you click on the quickbar, oopsie, hehehe. Oh, Shepard is facing in one direction - ah no matter, at least the crosshair moves! Ah, you wanted to save Ashley? Well, the game crashes, but y'know, maybe try saving Kaidan, perhaps the other location is not bugged?... Etc. These are not issues that should be taken so lightly.

Also - it is quite silly to speak in absolutes to try and challenge my views. Nobody is talking about fixing all the bugs.

"It was not Bioware that suggested that it is better to use a functioning workaround that cost 5 minutes to install, and call it a day, it was me.

What I deemed rude was the utter silence that BW has gone into, it has nothing to do with your suggestion. "Simply because it makes no difference. They will always get flack no matter if they say something or not." Really?! All they have to do is say whether they WILL or they WON'T update MELE anymore, that's it. And you think that this state of uncertainty is better?

Also, big fat bad luck to the millions of players on console, I guess?

Btw I am completely aware that the mod post was not pinned by EA, but it is still ridiculous. And since EA did not get rid of it - well, don't try to feed BS to me that they don't approve of it.

    @felker_s

It is not broken at all.
There are some bugs left, and that will not change but the game itself is rock stable and works as intended for the most part.

So you are angry and find it "ridiculous" that EA did not get rid of an article that help other players?
And because they get not rid of it they somehow approve what?

I can not change what you think or make you understand what this boards purpose is.

We set up this post to help PC gamers. If that leads to you being reinforced in your bias, so be it.

    @WindSquid1313

I have no idea how to reach Bioware directly.
EA support is here.  If you are not from the US change the country in the top right corner.

If you have trouble with the contact attempt look at this guide

Hey @WindSquid1313, thanks for the post!

Just as a heads up, reaching out to support directly would lead to some general troubleshooting, but it's not an alternative contact method for bug reporting. For that they would just send you back to the forums here for us to gather and pass along the feedback.

It's worth noting these were both around in the original versions of ME2 and ME3 as well, and seemingly didn't ruin the first experience for those of us who are still enjoying the games regardless. That's not at all to say we can't ask for improvements to be made, but hopefully it won't be that severe for your friend either.

I do appreciate the feedback otherwise!
