Well, then I guess the game can probably go into mothballs for me until I start hearing about a new one.....oh, well...I may play some MP, but it isn't really fun enough for me to stick with it much longer. I was mainly using MP to keep my skills sharp while waiting for single player DLC.

Would have been nice if they gave some "all the open threads will be answered in the next mass effect game" not just oh, we're washing our hands of the single player.
I wonder if they should just officially say the franchise is dead, they seem to have no reverence for the IP or the loyal fans who still forked out cash for a largely broken game at launch.

At least it's official and certainly better than waiting another month or more and knowing nothing. This should finally end all those rumours and so everyone can move on.
To me this makes no difference. I have my game, which I can replay whenever I want and enjoy it's story again. I don't regret buying it and I'm gonna hope that someday in the future they'll return to MEA and make a sequel or another ME game. That's all I can say. 🙂
Anyway, I give BW my thanks for everything they've done and for having this opportunity to enter the world of Mass Effect once more.
If they decide to continue with it someday, I'll be ready 🙂 🍺
They should, most of the problems from the game stem from corporate interference no? E.A is all about open world, micro transactions and no more fully dedicated single player stories, the game for me was largely disappointing (lax story, dialogue, game play, and of course all the technical issues), a shadow of what it could be. When you look at its development history its just a mess, changing the game into open world halfway through development or towards the end of release date, explains a lot of the graphics issues and overall quality. Have you seen the alpha footage? How does it look better than the final product?...sorta venting here, but this game was a sore/bitter point for me and quite a few loyal fans of this franchise, since 2007 but ey, our opinions matter? or is our disappointment a convenient excuse to shelve a failure and not invest more in story and development?
- Wasn't broken, nothing was bad about the game, it had some draw backs in customization, but that's all I experienced. The bugs people complained about were worse in ME2, and DA2. And those are still great games. I agree with you otherwise.
@ladyjustify; Pro Tip: Instead of making three separate posts inside 10 mins. to continue your thoughts, next time just EDIT the first one. 🤓
EDIT: Oh, and "badgering" EA won't do any good. They've shut down the studio that developed MEA and there will be no DLC for it. Period.
- I enjoy it and can't wait for the next one but even I think it need some improvement in a post titled what MEA2 need!!!!! It a bit long winded but I think it would get back the fans who are upset about MEA.
