Hi Everyone, 

Thanks for letting us know what you are running into with Mass Effect Legendary Edition. 

I wanted to check how many people might still be running into this, if so let us know the following.

When did the issue start?

Which Mass Effect in the Legendary edition are you encountering the issue on?

Which class do you play as? 

Does this happen in a specific area or point in the story?

We can share this information with the team to be aware of, however, we don't have any information on potential future patches or changes, especially considering that this is not a high-impact bug on gameplay.

    Thank you for asking! I use Answer HQ rarely nowdays, so maybe I'm late form the party, but still, I hope my answer will help.

    When did the issue start?


    It can happen in every combat situation when regular humanoid enemy types are involved. Occasionally in Mass Effect 2 and almost every fight in Mass Effect 3.

    Which Mass Effect in the Legendary edition are you encountering the issue on?

    Most of the times in Mass Effect 3, less often (but still too often) in Mass Effect 2. I think once happend in Mass Effect 1 too, but I'm not certain. But Mass Effect 3 is the most affected by this bug.

    Which class do you play as?

    I played with many class in LE, it's not depends on a specific class, instead on the used skills and melee attacks.

    Every skill which can trigger the enemy to fall on the ground can trigger this bug.


    Does this happen in a specific area or point in the story?

    No, it's not area specific, I think it's an enemy AI, or physic/collision bug and it can happen in every fight against all enemy units with a humanoid body type.

    Basically, when you fight against a regular humanoid type enemy, regardles of faction or other combat features and characteristics, if you use on them a skill with great physical force property (like the Throw, Pull, Singularity or Concussive Shot and many other skills, or Biotic class melee attacks) or just trigger the fall of the enemy (with skills like Cryo Blast or Cryo Ammo), and if they get knocked down by this, then most of the times, they can't get back on their feet and continue the fight, instead they lie on the floor, helplessly.

    The only condition what cancels this helpless state of them, if they suffer some damage while they lie on the ground. After some damage, they will stand up and continue the fight.


    It's really annoying, if the player looking for some challange on Insanity difficulty mode, and the enemy AI can't catch up because if this bug. I think this bug happens on all platforms. I tested on Xbox Series X, PS5 and also PC.

    I think all of the players affected by this bug, based on the persistent occurence of the bug on every major type of platforms, just the more casual players did not notice on easier difficulties, because they can kill an enemy way before he/she can get back up from the ground. Or just some other players don't bothered by this bug, and they just ignore it.

    I and many others made many reports with videos on this bug, more than a year ago. Here is the link, if more information is needed.
