Re: Mass effect 2 Romance glitch

Again, Bioware should address this but they are likely not doing so.

Just encountered this black screen glitch post suicide mission. Talked to Tali; she mentioned she wants to be exclusive. Screen blacks out. Miraculously, I somehow made it from the drive core area back to where Tali stands and triggered her conversation again, which made the screen normal again. No issues after that, but I found the glitch very weird. 

The only other thing I could think of to try in regard to see if this glitch is not central to something is to maybe try a character that did not romance in the first game and see what happens because it’s it’s a bit weird because if this was just a Remastering of the game and maybe only a slight alterations with the level designs They shouldn’t be really any changes to plot flag parameters for the romance Now I just had a bit of a brainstorm I’ve been thinking about this for years but really I didn’t want to write it up until I was reasonably feasible about this only thing I could think of is perhaps there is a conflict in the code that may be causing this glitch Now here’s my theory on this when the legacy addition was been developed they had to make changes to the achievements and trophies are slightly a bit from the originals such as the name and the parameters on how to achieve them because all three games we gonna be on one disc now Playing the game they may seem to be isolated but maybe the codes for particular parameters such as the romance may have been combined in a way to allow the trophies and achievements to recognise the achievement and trophy unlocked know that could’ve cause conflict because in the first Game the romance was locked there was no way to walk around the ship after the game finished in the third game the game for all intensive purposes after you finished the last mission reverts back to the starting point of the last level so basically before the final mission began so for all intensive purposes there was no coding to Romance after the last levels but mass effect 2 Had the ability to explore and continuously move around after the final mission and this includes romancing so I’m thinking that maybe because the mechanics on romancing on the first game and the third game a completely different to the second they may be a conflict between all three games
