Re: Shouldn't We Be Able to Go Straight to The Badlands From Space?

Agreed...  If we can send the nomad to forward stations and swap out crew and fast travel there, why cant a map pop up and we start there instead of kedara port?  Even in ME3, the alliance docking officer would ask shepard if he wishes to have a cab take him somewhere and the citadel is considerably smaller.

Exactly.  In fact, this map idea would be good for landing on any planet in my opinion.  Would make the whole leaving into space to do even simple things a little more bearable.

I agree that it would be nice too, ideally after earning Sloane's permission to operate. I unfortunately don't have any details on upcoming changes, but if something like this is added I'll be sure to bump this thread.

Two landing ports could be good. One at Kadara Space Port and one at the OP then you can oick whichever suits what you need at the time.

The only planet a second (or more) landing pad doesn't make any sense is Elaaden, where you literally can jump between landing pads, and planets you don't control (like Aya).

I don't see why you can't land close to any forward station really.
