Yeah it's idiotic to say the least. Fortunately for me since I'm running the game on Steam and I only care about Steam chivos i can just use Steam Achievement Manager and unlock the steam chivos that way
- @Ashuraman666 Thanks, I had no idea such a thing as Steam Achievement Manager existed! Though that is a double edged sword, I have very happily got my game completion percentage up, that is going to be one tempting thing when the going gets tough (Resident Evil Village Valley of Shadows Chris).
I shall get back to the game, and use the SAM to get my achievements. Ta! @Ashuraman666You know if using the SAM it´s safe? i mean it can ban me on steam or something like that?
I'd like to know if it's safe, too. I play on Steam as well, I don't care about the EA achievements.
For this game it's completely safe. You only risk a ban if it's for a game that has in game awards tied to the achievements which this game doesn't
I was just over at the Steam forums. People are pretty annoyed over there as well. Anyway, someone said that if you don’t update to the EA app and play in offline mode the Steam achievements continue to unlock.
