Please remove your mods folder and reload the game to check if it is still an issue. Don't save the game when you exit.
If it works then there is an issue with your CC/mods. You can use the 50/50 method to work out what is it and either delete or update the problem file/files.
- @Coley666 I completely forgot to thank you for helping and I ended up fixing the bug.
how did you end up fixing it and did you have to delete all of your mods?
- @Dark_Pheonix0720 I am having the same problem in my game at the minute, how did you fix it?
@MunkiB0y If you have custom content beds, get rid of them and try an EA bed instead.
hi i’m having this issue and i’m so clueless and not sure how to fix it. I tried what you said and for some reason still nothing. Please let me know what you can do to help me
@uhVyse Are you sure you've removed all cc beds? If so, try deleting the bed and replacing it, and if that doesn't work, place the bed somewhere else.
It was the cuddle mod for me.
- @4lynlover that fixed it, thank you!
- @4lynlover OMG SAME
I am having the same issue. I removed all my mods that were conflicting with the game using the mod conflict detector. I also removed the mod folder from the game, deleted the localthumbcache thingy but nothing. Moving around the bed, buying new ones but nothing. I removed the bed cuddle mod too but it will not work.
i dont know what to do, i have the same issue, i ended up deleting all my 1k mods.

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? EP04.305
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Almost all of them. Except the kits, college days, island escape, cottage, and a few packs
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a sim try to sleep in a bed. Toddler and infant sims do not seem to have the issue. Only child and above.
What happens when the bug occurs? There is no option to sleep even when exhausted. Only nap and other normal options.
What do you expect to see? The option to sleep for children and adult sims
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Growing together base game update adding infants
child sim cannot sleep

HI @Ambasaurus @Loth_one @CMBAMW
Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199
You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.
After renaming, repair your game by clicking on the dots in EA app.
Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.
- Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
- Tray Folder
- Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
- Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
- Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
- ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.
- Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)
The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.
Oml thank you
