Game Rejecting Every Single Mod/CC [de4ee14f:29f00e76:00000000:4b0d852b]
Hello, my little sister just got into The Sims 4 game recently. She has been playing the game with no Mods or CCs. When she adds even one CC or Mod file, regardless of it being the latest, the following dialog box pops up and the game can't run: "Cannot start because game data is missing or damaged. If you have Mods installed, please remove them and try again. If not, please repair or reinstall the game via Origin. [de4ee14f:29f00e76:00000000:4b0d852b]" We have tried all the solutions as suggested by various online forums (As well as EA forums); from creating a new folder, repairing the game, redownloading the game, to changing user access controls and so many more. But it still persists to no avail. She downloaded the game from the official EA app and website. In the country she currently resides in, she uses VPN. Does anyone please know what could be the cause and how we could fix it? We will really appreciate it.
Can't open lot / screen stuck
Hello, I've been having this issue for 2 days now. So I started building on a lot in San Sequoia (generic build for a ballet School), I saved and quit the game then later during the day went back to resume the build. The problem now is that I can't access the lot anymore, the loading screen is just stuck, the music still playing but nothing happens, the game becomes unresponsive and I have no choice but to force quit the game every time I try to enter this lot. I thought the save was corrupted but I can still play with the family on the save. I tried to make them travel to the lot and the same thing happened and I can't bulldoze it from the map. I took out all the mods and cc and load the lot without them but it made no difference. Has anyone ever had this issue ? I play on Mac. Thank you!
Bugged or corrupted cc?
Two of my sims kids have had these weird black bars/glitchy patches on their faces and bodies ever since they were infants and i don't know how to remove them. It doesn't show up in CAS, and i don't think it's corrupted CC because other sims have the same CC and look normal in open world. Reloading the game doesn't help and i don't know what to do, i don't want them to look like this forever 😭 I'm hoping it goes away once they're adults, but it if doesn't, how do i fix it?

So I havent played pretty much alll year and I have decided to update my mods becuase with the updates, they for sure need it! I wanna keep my mcc settings but somehow have 2 files called mc_setting.cfg and idk which one to keep or if theyd both have the same info. Also any other tips for updating mods would be helpful, i'm not very good at this <3
CC Build/Buy not loading?
Haven't seen anyone else talk about this so I thought I'd go ahead. After a little bit of trial and error, my game is working. Sort of. I don't have script mods, but I do have CC (CAS & Build/Buy). Before the update, everything was fine. The issue is that now my game will only load to the first screen (Play/Load Game options) when I remove every bit of Build/Buy CC. The CAS CC meanwhile is absolutely fine. But no matter which bit of Build/Buy CC I put back, no matter how much, which creator, etc., it breaks. Even one piece, eg an armchair. I'm stuck on the eternal loading screen and when I go to Task Manager, it's showing Sims 4 Not Responding. Therefore, the 50/50 method isn't going to work for me. It is literally the entirety of Build/Buy. Has anyone else encountered this? And any ideas as to why it's happening? (Because surely not every single piece of Build/Buy CC by multiple creators is broken, SURELY?!) Any help is much appreciated. I play on a MacBook Air which is fully updated and could handle all of my CC just fine before the update, never an issue.All of My CCs Don't Show Up
My downloaded CCs all show up in the confirmation list when I first open the game but no matter what I do none of them appear in build mode ever since the February 12th update. I have tried quite literally everything. I have tried turning the CC options on and off again in the settings, restarting the game each time. I have tried renaming the mods folder to make it auto make a new one and transferred the mods back again. I have removed onedrive from my computer sync. I have reset the game cache. I have completely removed the sims 4 folder from the EA folder and wiped my game. All of the files are the correct kind and none of them are in organizational folders within the mods folder that may disrupt it. It's not even just one file that I can troubleshoot to pick out, it's all of them. played on February 8th and it was fine then played again on the 17th and everything stopped working. game will not load after latest update
this is copy pasted from reddit btw, i made a post on a forum and nobody seemed to know the answer this is actually really stressing me out. i’ve had my save since 2019 and i updated my game. i now cannot load into the game with mods installed. now before anyone says “do 50/50” or “this mod is broken”. guys, i know. i’ve updated all my mods. the game won’t load. i dont even get to the start screen. without mods is fine but takes forever. i literally only put my loading screen in my mods folder. game doesn’t load. when i had a full folder it told me my game was corrupted? i cant play without mods, my game is built on mods. am i gonna have to say goodbye to my 7+ year save? am i being dramatic? has this happened to anyone else? i’m super scared. i’ve put so much time and effort into this save and i obviously love it. i don’t want to lose my game and sims over this. does anyone have a solution
Sims can't sit on chairs or sofas (mod related problem) after update.
Hi! I'm experiencing problem after February 3, 2026 update, where my sims can't sit on the chairs or sofas, only on beds and bar chairs. My Last Exception is telling me (AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'expected_kwargs') and last exception assistant tells me "outdated tunable resource error and outdated tunable resource (interaction) requires removing" how I can find the mod causing this, I have tested probably all my biggest mods and have updated most of them aswell and also tested some smaller mods, but the problem is still there. (All of these are tested one by one or updated and are not causing the problem.)
Royal Envoy Married and Quit Job Can't Complete Week Three Call Envoy Quest
I am stuck on the next part of the Lost Legacies Quest for Week 3. I invited Envoy over. Played and won chess. She took off. And now I am supposed to call her. Initially could find her in friend list, but calling her did nothing to complete quest. Now she doesn't show in friend list- because I discovered she married and quit her job. She shows as Marina Volkov, Unemployed. I tried calling her as Marina Volkov. That did not progress quest. I tried using MCCC to revert her back to Marina Corsair. She still shows as unemployed. And calling her does nothing. I have repaired my game. That didn't help. Please help.Missing CC
Since February I have noticed that a lot of my CC is just randomly missing from my folder. I use Sims4MM to keep my folders updated and clean. Sometimes I download complete sets folders, where some items are then deleted, which I would never intentionally do. For example, earlier in March I downloaded Sixam's Laundromat set, and after a few weeks, I went to build with the items and the only item missing/deleted was the coin machine. I do go through every item in the folders when I download them together, and I specifically remember being excited to find the coin machine on the set for a more realistic laundromat gameplay, so I would not delete it intentionally. I had to redownload the whole thing and go through the list one by one until I got to the missing item and S4MM said it was already in my folder, but I couldn't find it either on the game or on S4MM when I typed it in or looked up the set, etc. I only empty my trash bin on my Mac after a month, just in case I regret deleting an item from the game and that way I can still get it back. So after I started to notice this issue, I painfully looked at the bin, item by item, and those missing items were not there, or on my Mac finder, SM44, in game, CC folder, or anything in between. I also posted on a different forum on here about items (cc and game base/ packs) getting deleted after several different save versions or reloads of the lot. Not sure if both issues are connected, or if they even have anything to do with the For Rent bugs, but I figured I'd mention it here in case anyone has found a correlation between them. At this point I have been avoiding playing, because I'm the type of player that mostly builds, so after spending weeks carefully selecting items and curating the perfect rooms and builds, items start to disappear and I can't keep up with the changes to remember what was placed where originally. Please please please let me know if you can help! Thank you!
Dynasty menu missing from social menu
I've ran into a problem with the Dynasty menu with the fact that it is missing from my social menu. It was there two days ago (24'th of February) when I got the Royals and Legacy pack, but dissapeared after a day. I do have mods, but I has disabled them, reloaded the game - it still didnt show. I've repaired the game on the EA app - still didn't show. I've deleted the Sims 4 folder from my PC - still didn't show. I'm at a loss for what I need to do to get that menu back. Please help
MC Command : one parameter doesn't work (same-sex Sim pregnancies)
I don't understand why, with MC Command, female couples are forming and one of them is getting pregnant. I've clearly set a restriction for same-sex Sim pregnancies. I didn't have this problem before, and I've looked through all the options but can't find it... Does anyone have any ideas? So I been researching forums and can’t really seem to get an answer, I’m downloading mods from curse forge and the sims resources and all mods I try downloading show up in the search bar in game, but not as an item for me to physically select. I’ve tried a bunch of different trouble shooting and can’t figure it out, any ideas? I attached a picture to kinda show what I mean
