New Update Has Broken My Homescreen
I tried to go onto the sims today and it made me update. I did, went into the game and then because I wanted to go into CAS I went to settings to enable mods. I downloaded the newest version of the more CAS columns mod and restarted the game, but now every time I go onto the sims the homescreen is black and literally nothing works - can't load or resume game, can't access gallery, nothing. I deleted the mod from my laptop and restarted multiple times, also repaired the game through the EA app. It still doesn't work, I now think the issue is probably to do with the update and not the mod (however I have no tech knowledge so would also like to mention that I've had other mods installed in the past)
Black dots showing through my lots in Wakaba
I originally posted this in the General Discussion but realized this is probably a more accurate place for my problem. I'd searched the forum to see if anyone else had this problem but I couldn't find any discussions about it. I'm seeing these tiny, black dots (looks like insects) showing through my lots in Mt. Komorebi, in the Wakaba neighborhood. I only notice this occurring in Wakaba, the other neighborhoods appear to be fine, any help is greatly appreciated thank you!
Mods after April 16 2026 Patch
My script mods have been broken since the patch before this one, each one that is currently in my game is updated (mc command, basemental, pandasama childbirth). However, every time I go to open my save it tells me there is a better exceptions alert and it loads nonstop. I cleared my localthumbcache, please help
All my builds are gone
I was downloading CC and when I went back into my game all of my builds (except for the one I was most recently working on) are all gone. I've downloaded CC from these websites before, nothing sketchy ,at least I don't think. I deleted all the cc downloaded today and everything is still gone. This happened to me already once before, luckily I had recently made a copy of my Sims 4 file so I was able to copy over my saves from that. Unfortunately, that copy is 2 months old and I would be losing so much progress on several of my builds. I don't know whether it's corrupt save files or something to do with the game itself but I am absolutely DEVASTATED. Edit: I just found out about the most recent April 16th update, this might have something to do with that, but chances are it probably doesn't
Sim keeps falling over
Not sure if this is a glitch, but my sim keeps falling into the floor like this. Every time he walks around, not only through the house but also around the neighborhood, he always falls into the ground like this. I’ve seen other posts and not my sim does not have the clumsy trait, though I doubt it looks this way when they trip and fall. Any ideas?Marketplace UI exceptions caused by Weerbesu's UI extension
I am on PC and the Marketplace just shows as a box on box in the left hand corner and it says wwwwww above it. My games plays normally but after I save to exit - after it saves. It then prompts me to connect online. Though by then it is in Exit mode and so - there's nothing I can click and it exits normally. I am online - and the settings confirm I am online. And my internet connection is fine and is the same - as per above - this connect issue started after the update.
SIMS4 MODIFY CAS,ONLY BLANK BACKGROUND WITH JUST SIM SHOWING
When i click modify cas in mccc or even normally with testingcheats,it just show my sim alone with no options i can just rotate him i cant even enter main menu or anything so i need to close my game with task manager my ui mods are all updated so i have no idea what could cause this cuz it worked just fine a few days ago,so pls help anyoneThe Last update made all my sims naked and bald headed
The last sims update broke clothes and hair for me. I have updated every mod and did the 50/50 method and my CC furniture and game play mods work but all MY SIMS are naked and balded headed evern the townies and NPCS I dont play with. Idk WHAT WRONG. Even when I take CC clothes and hair and mua out the game everyone still has nothing on. Anyone else going through this I have updated and tried each mod one by one and nothing!Sims break??
I was playing after buying the university living and paranormal stuff pack and the game breaks when i try to exit, sims straight up walk out of the map while I try bringing them somewhere and when loading the sims they teleport into a different room than they were before. I don't know if its my MODS or thegame thats causing this issue!!
What's the easiest way or place to create my own designs?
I like trying to add my own stuff to the game, like pictures of shows, movies, books, whatever I think I would like in real life. I know about using Curseforge and a few other places for custom content. I want to do my own, and I was wondering what other people have had success with here when they do this too. I also would like to give my Sims some of the recipes/foods that I've made in real life, but I have no idea how to really do that.
No searching in search bar after the blue EA icon.
After the EA blue icon, my search bar in build mode with Sims 4 will not work. Either it crashes when i try to search or it brings up strange things when I type in debug. Or other items are also mixed up. I have 200 custom content items with 7 programs running with Sims 4. Doesn't matter if I keep the cc folder in the game or remove it to my desktop, I get the same result with the search bar. I have also tried to repair the game 4 times. Nothing. I also have remove the cache files several times. Should I remove the EA program and reinstall?? I have also turned off automatic updates, if this is not going to be an issue. I am at a loss for what to do next. Have tried everything.My sim cannot interact with others, the pie menu doesn’t pop up.
My sim cannot interact with other sims as the pie menu doesn’t not pop up. I don’t know what else to do. Is anyone else having this problem? I’m thinking it might be the royalty mod by Kiara but I can’t check until after work. Please let me know if there’s a mod or something that you’ve done that fixes this. I restarted the ea app, hoping to fix a bug in which my sim would randomly stop the cooking process (no there was no clutter blocking the way, no there wasnt anything blocking the paths, no there wasnt food in the oven, I changed and rebought every single item in the kitchen and it still has the same problem. The restart didnt fix anything) and now all of my mods are gone (I use curseforge and nexusmods), they dont show up anywhere. They arent disabled however in nexus MM or in Curseforge. Please help me
