Need help with error
Hey everyone, please I need your help with this error i got from better exceptions, my game was a little slow and then this came up, I asked chat GPT but it said that theres probably something wrong with some careers/gigs mods but i dont have this type. Can you please help me fix this, thanks. Large blue rectangle appearing in bottom - left cover - sim4 UI Bug
Hi EA and Sims 4 team, I am having a large blue rectangle appearing in the bottom-left corner of my Sims 4 game. It covers part of the UI and makes it difficult to use the game. I have already tried many troubleshooting steps: Removed/renamed my Mods folder and tested with no Mods or CC Deleted localthumbcache.package Repaired The Sims 4 through the EA app Reset the Sims 4 user folder and tested with a fresh folder Reset Options.ini Changed between windowed/fullscreen Lowered the graphics settings Enabled Laptop Mode Updated my Intel graphics-related drivers through Windows Update Restarted my laptop and the game The blue rectangle is still there even with a completely clean Sims 4 setup and no Mods/CC. My laptop uses Intel Graphics, and Windows reports that the graphics device is working properly. The problem appears on the Residential Worlds/world-selection screen, and the blue rectangle stays in the bottom-left corner. Could EA please investigate whether this is a Sims 4 UI/rendering bug introduced by a recent update? I can provide screenshots and any additional information needed. My mods are not working for the sims even though my mods are enabled, the mods are not zip files or anything like that. I tried both script mods and normal custom content. I know that my mods are in the right folder and put in properly. I have had the sims for around 3 years and have used mods the entire time and never had this problem. I was having this problem on my laptop (not a MacBook if that's relevant) a few months ago and thought I had somehow messed it up but now I am facing this problem on my PC. I have tried restarting the EA app, using the repair option, and app recovery but nothing has worked. I have no idea what to do anymore and just bought new packs earlier thinking this issue was only something on my laptop not also on my PC.
Weird pixel
Hi! I have this pixel onto my game, could someone please help me? i play onto the EA APP Windows 11 ever since downloading the sims 4 again it show this kind of pixel everytime i add a detail in the face and body and it continue to glitch during the game (i also tried to delete all my mods and also remove the whole game and re-download etc and it’s still there, the pixel, i even tried to download sims studio but my windows won’t allow sims studio so i don’t know what to do) kinda like this:
Sims not cleaning dishes or cooking
Ever since the second to last update, my sims won't cook or clean the dishes. I do have several food mods. Is this a result of the update or are one of my mods broken? Or is it something else? Sims cannot gain romantic relationships
I started a new game and noticed my sim appears to be unable to gain romatic relationships with anyone. Things like Flirting, offering roses, sexy poses, kissing etc does nothing at all. My sim can gain friendships without any issues but not the romance side which is important on how I play the game. The only thing which has changed since it was working to now is that I bought the the Toddler stuff pack as a couple of gallery lots I wanted to use needed this. I've tried repairing the game and that has not changed anything. None of my mods or cc has been changed since it was working last to now so I cannot see that is the issue unless something is incompatible with the Toddler pack which seems unlikely. Is this current issue which others are having or something only I am seeing? Klairewon't save new families
To summarize: I make a Sim, press the check mark to save and play, but it just stays on the screen above, where the check mark is grayed out from me clicking it. I can escape to go back to edit the Sim, but it does not save. I have deleted the cache, deleted mods, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and updated it. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Limbs Randomly Disappear
I have been recently suffering from a problem where sims limbs randomly disappear. Sometimes it is a hand, foot, arm, or a leg. They just look like it has been cut off. It happens to sims both my played and unplayed household. It happens in live mode and in create a sim mode, too. I have done fifty fifty, repaired my game, played vanilla and the problem still persist. Some of my friends have the same issue too. I do not have any body presets, body mods or sliders. It happens on sims that have cc on and no cc and happens when the game is vanilla too. Temporary fixes I have discovered include restarting the save or game, entering create a sim mode and resetting the body to the default and editing afterwards or changing their outfit. I have not seen any fixes other than what I have mentioned and I think because this issue happens sporadically it is very random no pattern to it it is hard to pin down the cause.Game Crashes Every Time I Use the Coffee or Tea Maker
My game crashes every time my sims use a coffee or tea maker small appliance. This has been an issue for a while in my game and I can't seem to figure out the cause. I have done the 50/50 method three separate times now, and just when I think I've dwindled it down to the CC culprit, as soon as I put back all my mods, it continues to crash. With the 50/50 method, I identified a Pandasama mod and BuildBuy items as "allegedly" causing the crashing. I removed those items, tested in the save again, and it didn't crash. But when I put back all my mods, it crashes again, even though while doing the 50/50 method the game did not crash while I'm testing each of the items separately. I don't know how else to troubleshoot for the crashing. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! For the record, I play on a Mac with an Apple M2 Pro Chip, and it's on the macOS Tahoe Version 26.6.1. If you need any more information on my computer, I'd be happy to provide.
Infinite loading screens when traveling
For starter yes, I use mods. Any yes, I use many of them. So, I created my own save file, and I notice when playing it and making a sim travel, I will get the sound as if the loading screen is finished however the actual loading screen will still keep going. So, I tried several different ways to find the culprit however I still end up back where I am. #1: Process of elimination and noticed once I removed cc content it would work however the cc in particular is a huge part of my sim home and getting rid of it would have me redo it over. (so okay it's the cc?) #2: When I start a new save with all the cc/mods in game, sims are able to travel with no issues) (so, it's the save file?) Honestly, I have no idea what it is, but both solved the issue however I need my cc, and I didn't put in all of them weeks of work for my save file just not to play it. Can I get some help please?
