Am I screwed??
Basically what happened was that my game wouldn’t launch so I took out my cc and mods which didn’t help at all, then I was gonna repair the game, that didn’t work so then I reinstalled it, (still wouldn’t let me launch) and after that I deleted the ea folder so that it would generate a new one..it didn’t??? So now I can’t generate a new folder cause I still can’t load into the game even though it thinks I’m in just fine?? I don’t even know what step to take in this is there even a way to get me into the main menu or anything?? I both repaired the ea app and verified the files on steam practically 100 times and yea..it didn’t do anything. I feel cluelessBE Report for sims 4
Today I got a possible cause that i've not seen before, I have went through and checked mods since I have A LOT. I removed a good chunk, can play fine for a bit but the next time I load up my game, I get a critical exception again. Hello, since I thought that it really was not an issue, I didn´t look for help, but since I have tried multiple things already, I came here. This problem occurred right after a free update. I went in my game and everything was normal, until my mods screen popped up, and the exit button on that tab, was invisible, and the "okey" button had a weird background. Also in CAS, my traits background look the same as on the "okey" button. Plus, if I go to the game menu, none of the texts there have frames (like they used to have), now they basically just float there. I also added some pictures, so maybe these will be more understandable.Failed To Launch
Originally my game failed to launch whenever i tried to play. I thought it was the actual game but turns out it was my CC. Specifically my clothing CC. Everything else worked great. I tried to download many other types of clothing CC but it’s every single clothing CC i put into my mods. And it won’t let me launch my game. I don’t know what else to do to fix it.
Last Exception Report: vehicle_liabilities.py
Hey guys, I've been having this issue since the pack released, where everytime a sim rides a kayak it produces a last exception report that reads: Last Module Called: vehicle_liabilities.py Last Function Called: get_start_node_index_for_path Error message: Exception in prepare_gen for super interaction. (AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'can_transition_over_node'), CategoryID: vehicle_liabilities:30 After that, the game runs for a while and then crashes. I'm not really sure if it's a mod related issue or just a bug, since I haven't seen many people with the same problem.
Sims get the 'Invasion of privacy' moodlet, which cancels all interactions.
Ever since I purchased the Adventure Awaits Expansion Pack and created a new household to playtest all of the new features, my sims keep getting the 'Privacy invaded' as if one sim had walked into the bathroom when the other was showering or using the toilet. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that due to this moodlet constantly appearing on my sims' profiles and the tied animation that this specific moodlet has, other interactions are getting canceled, to the point where no matter what I try to have them do, how many times I reset or teleport them, they just stand in place; embarrassed all the time. I've tried reloading the lot and resetting the game multiple times, but it just keeps happening, so I don't know what else to do and I literally cannot play the game, as the sims won't do anything I tell them to. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a solution? I do have mods, though they're all updated (I'm pretty sure), and I have all the packs except for a few Kits.[EBN] [GRO] Stayover guests getting ailments
The default stayover guests - the ones who call you to initiate a stayover - are pretty consistently getting ailments, because they almost all have negative moods, either sad if they come alone, or angry if they come in a group. Currently in a modded save, but pretty sure I've seen it in saves with mods disabled as well.
Can’t use the chemical analyser?
My sim is a nurse doing clinical rotation, and I cannot use the chemical analyser, there’s only greyed out options for analysing plants and elements, no option for patient swabs etc. please help, I cannot use the career if I can’t use the analyser! I'm playing The Sims 4 University pack or at least I'm trying to, but I can't really play because my Sim constantly cheats during exams. Even though they focus on their classes, do their homework, and study, they always end up cheating during every exam without me doing anything. After only three days at university, they get suspended for cheating, and the same thing keeps happening in a loop. I’ve created a new Sim three times, but the problem still happens. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but that didn’t fix it. I removed all the mods I had installed in case one of them was causing the issue, but nothing changed. My Sim still automatically cheats during exams all the time. This is my second time writing about this issue. I haven’t been able to play the game since the day I purchased the package. I didn’t receive any response to my first message I hope you will reply this time.
"utils" ERROR MESSAGE
what in the world is utils??????? its the ONLY thing that comes up in my better exceptions. Ive even removed all my mods and then this popped up - "features\attractiveness\functions\_ts4_lovestruck.py" as an error message. Ive tried 50/50 method and removing absolutely everything and starting a fresh save.
