Hi, this is just a far fetched attempt on solution but can you try and go into the menu and delete the update patch applied (both, if they are there), and restart and re-install the current patch?
- 1
Move the "Game" tab on the XMB, the PS3's main menu.
- 2
Move up to "Game Data Utility." Press "X" to enter it.
- 3
Press "Triangle" on any game file you want to delete. Press "X" on "Delete" on the menu that appears.

- Anonymous12 years agoThat would work, but not for me . I preordered the game and played it on day one for a little bit before a break. On my second play, it froze like explained with this 1.02 patch. I've had trouble on static and dynamic ip from playing at home and at college. I love nfs and have played it since the original hot pursuit series. Also, I find this issue disappointing to say the least . I feel cheated out of my full retail investment in a good game that just is broken and unplayable.
