Technical issues
Honestly, I don't know what's going on with the game. I download and install it over and over again; I paid for the add-ons, but when I try to change a car part—like a tire or a spoiler—it tells me the purchase failed. It won't let me buy anything for the cars, or even buy new cars, in Need for Speed Unbound.3Views0likes0CommentsNFS Unbound freezes whenever tabbed out.
I just recently bought the game off steam store. First, I tried to run it, showed me with a error of directx function. Fortunately, I somehow fixed it, but now whenever I tried to alt-tab, alt-enter, win-tab, or even win-only, the game froze. It didn't crash; it just froze. I can't click on anything or tab out. I have tried verifying integrity and changing fullscreen to windowed or borderless in-game (it also freezes right when I switch). force it to go windowed mode. But none seems to work. My pc specs are i5 14600kf, RTX 5070, 32 GB RAM, and somehow I still can't enjoy the game properly. Please help me fix this; I really want to enjoy the game. However, I might refund this game due to an number of errors I have faced.26Views0likes1CommentNFS HEAT STUDIO APP & serious topics 4 the betterment of NFS as a whole.
I really feel that EA should reactivate the need for speed studio app for need for speed heat to allow people to customize their cars on the fly and what not. Also, I believe they should do a sit down and talk with the fans, not just streamers but their actual overall fans about what they’d like to see in a new need for speed game. Because I could tell you quite a few things that I would like to see in a single need for speed game: Add the actual individual body parts slider customization that you had in need for speed carbon as well as the chop top slider you had for it. Put the full detailed customization that you’ve had from all the games and the one game like the ability to do custom gauges and sound systems in the trunk and neon under glow layouts and interior as well as body parts rims wheels license plates 3. Give us the dragracing that your fans unanimously agree on is the best drag racing out of all the games same with the circuit races in the drift races because personally I think and feel the need for speed carbon had the best drift mechanics in any of the games and bring back the canyon duels from carbon but without that stupid swing camera that you had. 4. Give us the ability to customize cars, trucks, vans, and motorcycles all in one game like you have spread across multiple games. 5. Give us the best decal and wrap options and paint options that you’ve had in your best games. Some of them being need for speed carbon need for speed 2015 need for speed heat and sadly need for speed unbound and a few other need for speed games. 6. Make it to where money and wrap both can be earned and day and night both like it used to be. 7. Bring back some of the fan favorite characters from across the franchise. 8. Give us a really good in-depth story without being overly annoying with it like you were in unbound with them constantly yapping 24/7 heck you had really good stories in underground, underground 2, the original most wanted, carbon, 2015, and heat. 9. Make it to where the cops are a little challenging, but not so broken that you can’t really progress for crap without other people playing with you. Heat and unbound. Cops are ridiculously aggressive, even on the easiest difficult and The lower heat levels. (one of my friends is new to the game and almost got the **bleep** from playing heat ever again because of that. But thankfully, I convinced him to stick it out and he now really enjoys the game now that he’s gotten a little better parts and stuff.) 10. and this is the biggest one that online games fail at all the time now nowadays. Allow cross platform and cross progression of all their save data. And don’t make it ungodly ridiculous to link your cross platform and cross save data.21Views0likes1CommentWhen will the stealth police car be available again?
I upgraded the speed pass to level 45 more than a year ago and obtained the invisible police car version of Nissan's Skyline (1999), but I bought a Nissan skyline (1999) at that time and didn't find anything about the invisible police car in the appearance, and And until I unlocked the invisible police car version of the Porsche 911 GTS, but I didn't find where to modify it. I tried to communicate with EA customer service. The customer service told me that a game package of similar value had been sent to my game, but it was not until 24 hours later that I logged in to the game that I did not find the reissued game package. Excuse me, which of you has experienced this? Can you tell me the solution?9Views0likes0CommentsNeed for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed does not run at all!
Well first off, yes I know this board is for Hot Pursuit, but there is no board for Shift 2 so I am placing this here. I bought this game about three weeks ago on steam. Steam has been giving zero customer support as far as getting this game to work or offering a refund. I have tried every possible solution in the book as far as any article I could look up with similar problems that were reported to EA customer support. The issue I am having is activation.exe launches, I enter my serial and it is accepted...as soon as I click okay the application closes and the game DOES NOT launch at all. I have tried: -removing activation.exe and shift2u.exe from DEP -reinstalling the game -reinstalling physx -reinstalling the latest graphics drivers for nvidia 640m and EVEN older graphics cards, all with no success -I have run the program in adminstrator mode with windows 7 compatibility -I have tried activating it both offline and online Nothing works, this game fails to cooperate. Steam refuses to offer any sort of refund or support aside from typical "copy and paste answers" which is an absolute shame. I am in the military so my time on the internet is extremely limited as is, and so is spending time to try fixing this game. Any help offered that has not been listed above is welcome.8.5KViews1like27CommentsOfficial Request — Remaster/Remake of Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005) for PS5
Dear Electronic Arts Team, I am writing as a long-time fan of the Need for Speed franchise to respectfully request your consideration for a remaster or remake of Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005) for the current generation of consoles, especially the PlayStation 5. This 2005 title is widely regarded by the community as the peak of the franchise. Features such as the Blacklist progression, intense police pursuits, the unforgettable urban atmosphere, and of course the legendary BMW M3 GTR, created an experience that players still talk about nearly two decades later. A modern release for PS5 with: 4K visuals and ray tracing Stable 60 FPS performance Near-instant loading times using the SSD DualSense haptic feedback and adaptive triggers Revamped online multiplayer would not only honor a true classic but also represent a strong commercial opportunity by bringing together longtime fans and a new generation of players who never had the chance to experience this masterpiece. The demand is real and persistent. Forums, social media, and fan petitions have consistently shown how much the community wants this specific title to return. Bringing Most Wanted (2005) back would perfectly blend nostalgia with modern technology. Thank you for your time and for continuing to support one of the most iconic racing franchises in gaming history. Sincerely, Need for Speed fans around the world [Moved from PT to EN. Please review our guidelines regarding language posts - CM]1.5KViews9likes2CommentsAre there any cheats for need for speed unbound on series x?
Game is insanely difficult on the easiest setting. The moment you are in first place the AI goes berserk and throws everything it can on your incoming driveline and gives the other cars behind you extra speed and cornering abilities and they just smash you off the road. If we wanted difficult we would just do life guys. We dont play games because theyre hard, we play them to chill out. Hope you are going to fix it rather than drop the game and leave it stupidly unplayable.Solved24Views0likes2CommentsGame crash
I found problem with Need for Speed no limits game, recently I tried adding all my Google play accounts to my device and it caused game to crash in permanent loading screen. Apparently if you have more than 3 Google play accounts signed in on your device it causes game to get stuck in loading screen permanently. Can this issue please get patched and resolved?30Views0likes1CommentEA, please bring back Need for Speed ProStreet - Remastered
EA, Bring Back Need for Speed ProStreet — The Remaster Fans Deserve Dear EA and Need for Speed developers, I’m writing this as a passionate Need for Speed fan with one request: Please bring back Need for Speed ProStreet. But not as a simple HD remaster. Imagine taking everything that made the original ProStreet special, rebuilding it with modern technology, and creating the definitive version of the game: NEED FOR SPEED PROSTREET REMASTERED ProStreet was different from other Need for Speed games. It wasn't about simply driving around an open world at night. It was about building a race car, choosing your discipline, tuning it, taking risks, dealing with damage, winning events and building your reputation. That identity is exactly what I would want to see preserved. --- 🏁 1. KEEP THE HEART OF PROSTREET The most important thing: Don't turn ProStreet Remastered into another open-world street-racing game. Keep the professional racing atmosphere. The core should remain: - Circuit racing - Grip - Drag - Drift - Speed Challenge - Race Days - Vehicle tuning - Performance upgrades - Damage and repairs - Rivalries - Championships - Reputation and progression The game should feel like a massive underground-to-professional racing journey. --- 🔧 2. A MUCH DEEPER TUNING SYSTEM This could be one of the biggest improvements. Let players build cars specifically for each discipline. Performance tuning Allow players to adjust things like: - Gear ratios - Tire compounds - Tire pressure - Suspension - Ride height - Springs - Dampers - Anti-roll bars - Brakes - Brake balance - Differential - Steering - Downforce - Aerodynamics - Turbo/supercharger settings - Engine upgrades And make these changes actually affect how the car behaves. A Drag build shouldn't drive like a Grip build. A Drift build shouldn't feel like a Speed Challenge build. Visual customization Bring back the classic ProStreet customization while expanding it: - Body kits - Bumpers - Hoods - Spoilers - Side skirts - Wheels - Exhausts - Paint - Vinyls - Decals - Window tint - Interior customization - Roll cages - Racing seats - Steering wheels - Gauges And please bring back Autosculpt in an upgraded form. Imagine modern Autosculpt allowing players to create completely unique bodywork. --- 💥 3. MAKE THE DAMAGE SYSTEM A MAJOR FEATURE One of ProStreet's most memorable ideas deserves a serious modern evolution. Don't make crashes purely cosmetic. A major crash should potentially affect: - Engine performance - Steering - Suspension - Brakes - Aerodynamics - Drivetrain - Bodywork And cars should need to be repaired. This could make every Race Day more meaningful. You might have a perfectly tuned car before an event... Then you push too hard, crash badly and have to decide: Do I spend my money repairing it, or risk racing again with a damaged car? That would make racing feel much more intense. --- 🏆 4. A HUGE CAREER MODE This is where I think a modern ProStreet could become something truly special. Start with a modest car. Build it. Tune it. Race it. Win money. Build your reputation. Find sponsors. Meet rivals. Upgrade your equipment. Eventually become one of the biggest names in the racing scene. Career progression could include: Street level → Local events → Regional competitions → National championships → Elite events → World-level competition And instead of simply unlocking cars, the player should gradually build an entire racing operation. --- 🏎️ 5. MULTIPLE RACING ORGANIZATIONS Imagine different teams or racing organizations specializing in different disciplines. For example: Grip teams Focused on technical circuits and cornering. Drag teams Focused on acceleration, launches and straight-line performance. Drift teams Focused on style, angle, precision and score. Speed Challenge teams Focused on extreme high-speed racing. You could develop relationships with these groups, compete against them and eventually become their biggest rival. --- 🌍 6. MORE TRACKS — BUT NO GENERIC OPEN WORLD Instead of one giant open-world map, give us a collection of high-quality racing locations. For example: - Mountain roads - Desert highways - Industrial areas - Race circuits - Airfields - Coastal roads - Forest roads - High-speed motorways - Technical circuits - Drag strips And bring back iconic ProStreet locations where possible. The focus should be quality racing environments, not simply making the map enormous. --- 🚗 7. A MASSIVE CAR LIST The car roster should combine iconic ProStreet cars with modern performance cars. I would love to see a mixture of: - Japanese tuners - American muscle - European sports cars - Modern supercars - Hypercars - Classic performance cars - Legendary Need for Speed vehicles And, most importantly: Bring back iconic cars from the original ProStreet. Seeing some of those vehicles rebuilt with modern graphics would be incredible. --- 🎮 8. DIFFERENT DRIVING STYLES Give players options. Arcade Easy to pick up and play. Pro More demanding handling and braking. Simulation-inspired More realistic vehicle behavior and tuning consequences. But don't lose the classic Need for Speed feeling. The goal shouldn't be to turn ProStreet into another hardcore simulator. It should remain accessible, fast and exciting. --- 🌐 9. MODERN ONLINE MULTIPLAYER This could make ProStreet incredibly addictive today. Online Race Days Create your own event and invite other players. Online Championships Compete through multiple races with points accumulated across the championship. Leaderboards Separate rankings for: - Grip - Drag - Drift - Speed Challenge Online Crews Create a racing organization with friends. Choose a name, logo, colors and cars. Weekly events EA could create rotating competitions with unique rewards. --- 🛠️ 10. CUSTOM RACE DAY CREATOR One feature I would absolutely love: Create your own Race Day. Choose: - Track - Discipline - Number of races - Weather - Time of day - AI difficulty - Car class - Performance restrictions - Damage settings - Rewards Then share the event online. Imagine the community creating its own championships. --- 🌧️ 11. WEATHER AND TIME OF DAY Modern technology could make the racing atmosphere incredible. Include: - Clear weather - Rain - Heavy rain - Fog - Storms - Sunset - Night racing - Sunrise And make weather affect the cars. Wet conditions should change braking distances, grip and vehicle behavior. --- 🎵 12. KEEP THE PROSTREET ATMOSPHERE This is extremely important. Don't erase the identity of the original game. Bring back the feeling of: Race Days. Crowds. Announcements. Sponsors. Competitors. Tension. Engines. Tires. Burnouts. The sound of a car being pushed to its limit. And, if licensing allows it, bring back as much of the original soundtrack as possible. A modern soundtrack could be added alongside it. --- 📸 13. PHOTO MODE AND REPLAYS Give players a powerful photo mode. Allow: - Camera control - Lens effects - Depth of field - Motion blur - Weather control - Time-of-day control - Decal visibility - Cinematic replay cameras And let us save complete race replays. ProStreet cars deserve to be shown off. --- 🏁 14. THE ULTIMATE RACE DAY The final goal of the career could be an enormous championship. A multi-discipline event combining: Grip → Drag → Drift → Speed Challenge Your car, your tuning decisions and everything you've learned throughout the career would finally be put to the test. That would be an amazing way to finish the game. --- 🎨 15. DON'T FORGET THE ORIGINAL STYLE Please don't make everything ultra-serious and generic. ProStreet had personality. Keep the aggressive visual style. Keep the dramatic presentation. Keep the feeling that every event matters. Make the game modern without removing its identity. --- ❤️ WHY I THINK THIS COULD WORK Need for Speed has experimented with many different identities throughout its history. Open-world street racing. Police chases. Illegal racing. Customization. Story-driven experiences. But ProStreet represented something different: organized competitive racing. And I believe there is still a huge amount of potential in that concept. A ProStreet Remastered could appeal to: - Fans of the original game - New Need for Speed players - Car enthusiasts - Tuning fans - Competitive racing fans - Players who want something different from another open-world game It could even become its own branch of Need for Speed. --- 🔥 MY DREAM PROSTREET Imagine this: You start with a cheap car. You choose your first discipline. You buy your first performance parts. You tune the suspension. You install better tires. You build your first serious engine. You enter your first Race Day. You make mistakes. You crash. You repair the car. You improve it. You meet rivals. You earn sponsors. You build your reputation. You eventually have multiple cars, each built for a specific discipline. Then you enter the biggest Race Day of your career. And when the lights go green... everything you've built comes down to one race. That's the ProStreet experience I would love to see brought back. --- 🙏 EA, PLEASE CONSIDER IT I'm not asking you to simply recreate a game from 2007. I'm asking you to look at what ProStreet was trying to do and ask: “What could ProStreet become with today's technology?” Take the original concept. Keep its identity. Improve its weaknesses. Expand its strengths. Give it modern graphics, physics, tuning, damage, multiplayer and community features. And create something that feels like ProStreet — evolved. Because sometimes the best way forward isn't to forget the past. Sometimes it's to bring back the best ideas and give them another chance. EA, bring back ProStreet. Bring back the Race Days. Bring back the competition. Let us build our cars again. See you at the starting line. 🏁 — A passionate Need for Speed fan15Views0likes0CommentsNFS No Limits is down again?… of course it is
So it’s that nice morning again when I start my NFS NL and it is stuck loading. Is it an issue on my end? As always NO. I think I’ve had enough. Grinding for years with so little appreciation as EA shows… no, thank you. Goodbye, one big transaction of a game.Solved44Views0likes1CommentNeed for speed most wanted 2012 remastered
Dear Andrew Wilson and the Electronic Arts team, I have been a longtime fan of the Need for Speed series, and I wanted to share how much Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012) still means to so many players. The game had an incredible open world, exciting police pursuits, fun multiplayer, and a unique progression system that made it stand out from other racing games. Even years later, many fans continue to play it and talk about it online because it captured something special. I respectfully ask EA and Criterion Games to consider creating a remaster for modern platforms such as Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Improved graphics, higher frame rates, cross-play, and quality-of-life updates while preserving the original gameplay would be a dream come true for many fans. Thank you for continuing to create great racing games and for listening to your community. I hope you’ll consider bringing Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012) back for a new generation of players. Sincerely, A devoted Need for Speed fan68Views0likes1Comment
