Did you check if they opted out of fame ?

My sims have not opted out of fame, and the little fame icon pops back up on other lots. My sim was able to gain fame when she traveled to Cooperdale pier, but not on her home lot.

@a660ead7b5131dfd7b9c7e3fc403b054 Not sure about home lots. I think Fame is only available on community lots.
